i have gone in to enigma 2 and found setting are you saying the xml file in the setting as i cannot find it thanks

With an FTP tool go to /etc/enigma2 folder and backup the settings.xml file.
Open settings.xml file with Notepad++.
Look for entries that start with ~ config.Nims. (these are your dish motor/satellites configuration).
Flash the latest version of OpenViX image then insert config.Nims. entries back into the same file (settings.xml). This will restore your dish motor/satellites configuration, without the need to manually do everything again.

I need to update my software on my vu plus solo 2 to the latest openvix i checked and the last time it was updated was 2016 is this going to be a problem when backing up i do not want loose my motor settings when i update

Hi all i do not know if this possible i would like to control my motor from 2 separate boxes. At the moment i have Vu plus solo 2 and a Z Gemma h9 twin running off a 1.2 mtr channel master dish with a twin output LNB one cable to each box with the Vu plus controlling the motor is it possible to have both boxes to control the motor

H i all i am looking for upgrade for my Solo2 it has been a great box but is starting to get a bit slow and no 4 K i have a Z Gemma H9 twin as a second box but it is not as good as a Vu + box so what i am looking for is a twin tuner 4k box that will move a dish and good build quality
