I have a feature request—or rather, a question—regarding XStreamity.
Would it be possible to automatically save the VOD cover art when downloading a VOD movie using the download manager?
Example: If a movie is downloaded to:
/media/hdd/movie/
Then the corresponding cover image should also be saved in the same folder as:
Example with MP4:
DE-Killer-Whale-2026.jpg
DE-Killer-Whale-2026.mp4
DE-Killer-Whale-2026.mp4.meta
DE-Killer-Whale-2026.mp4.cuts

I don’t think all VisualWeather files are being deleted.
Please check:
* under: /etc/enigma2/settings
* under: /etc/enigma2/VisualWeather/
* under: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/VisualWeather/
For OE 2.5
apt-get remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-visualweather
- then start GUI
opkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-visualweather
- then start GUI
- Under /etc/enigma2/VisualWeather
the data also needs to be deleted manually.

The selected skin now persists when launching the GUI.
Apparently, nobody is receiving posters or covers.
It does not seem to be an issue with XStreamity either. E-Stalker also has no posters or covers.
It could be due to the poster and cover servers.

When I select the “XStreamity Haze” skin in VTi and restart the GUI, the “Standard” skin appears.
After the GUI restart, it always loads the “Standard” skin.
But after a full reboot, the selected skin is loaded correctly.
After another restart, when I start the GUI again, the “Standard” skin appears again.

However, I was able to modify your plugin.py for Python 2.7 so that it now works with VTI as well.

If you have the time and interest, maybe you could extend VisualWeather to support Python 2.7.

With this .py file, it works for me on VTI with Python 2.7.

I am experiencing constant crashes when trying to watch a VOD movie using XStreamity (including the integrated XKlass).
The movie starts normally, but after some time the box crashes.
In all log files, the same error appears:

The issue appears to be caused by a missing type check for description, as it seems that an object is returned instead of a string.
I kindly ask for this to be checked.
After reviewing the code, I noticed that at this point a unique name must be assigned to the URL. Otherwise, the reference will not switch from 4097 to 5002. I hadn’t noticed this before.

I have the following problem:
In the playlist settings in the main menu, I can switch the reference for Live TV and VOD/Series between 4097 and 5002 in VTi without any issues.
This setting is also available in the playlist menu.
However, in the playlist menu, I cannot set Live TV and VOD/Series to 5002. I receive the message: “Already in use.”
Even when the main menu is set to 4097, it is still not possible to change Live TV and VOD/Series to 5002 in the playlist menu.
Additionally, when a VOD/Series is playing and I switch using the TV button, the VOD/Series starts again from the beginning.
Would it be possible to fix this, or to provide a proper setting either in the playlist menu or the main menu?
No problems with VTI and Python 2.7.
