As specified in previous messages I am completely new to the satellite area.
I bought a cam + tivusat smartcard, but I only use the smartcard because the cam does not fit into the octagon sf8008 decoder slot.
So you said that I have to configure the cam but since I only use the smartcard, do I have to configure that too? and if so, how do I do it? is there any guide i could read?
Excuse me if I break you with these elementary questions for you, but for me it's all new stuff.

scusami se ritorno ancora a chiedere chiarimenti su questo argomento.

Ho ho una smartcart (+ cam) di tivusat.

Per scheda tivusat intendi quella o è un'altra cosa?

Perchè con la smartcard inserita nel decoder octagon sf8008 dei canali della tua lista Italia non si vede niente, solo 4/5 canali, tipo il canale della Nasa, San Marino e pochissimi altri.

Suggerimenti?

Ciao, ho appena installato il tuo file, ma non si vede niente. La lista canali è splendida quando digito 1 mi corrisponde rai hd ma non il video non parte e cosi anche per gli altri canali, ci sono ma non si vede niente, solo l'immagine fissa del logo openatv. Devo fare qualcosa?

Hi, I'm new to the decoder world.

I bought an octagon sf8008 decoder a few days ago, and the problems started immediately.

First of all with the network, I can't connect to the wifi, everything jams when it asks me to enter the nameserver parameters.

I have read many posts and tried to insert the read values (1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 etc.) but nothing to do.

Then the Non Italian channel list that leaves the time it finds.

Lastly I read that there are backup versions of the various systems.

From what I seem to have understood if I were to flash, for example, the one you uploaded "openEight 6.8 backup" I would find myself a system already "fixed" so to speak with any plugins already inserted etc?
