    Hi guys,

I have a gemmaz H7 with the OpenATV 7.6, the plug in for Pluto works fine and I can see the channels and everything, BUT every time I try to watch a channel from the Pluto US version, the receiver reboot! It does only happen on the US version and not on all the other ones, does anyone else has the same problem??

Zgemma H8 with OpenATV 7.6 here. I am watching US Pluto outside US without problems. Select service extplayer3 5002 in the pluto plugin. Try gstplayer as player, it works best for me. Takes some seconds to open the stream, but works stable.

After the update via Telnet, all channels are working again. However, the following problem occurs: During commercial breaks, the picture freezes at the end of an ad in the advertising session, and the sound speeds up until finally there is no sound at all. This is very frustrating and exhausting because I constantly have to switch channels and rewind to figure out when the commercials end.

This is especially annoying when watching a movie from the VOD list, where the picture freezes during ads, and I have to turn off and restart the movie repeatedly to carefully find the exact moment when the commercials end.

This issue has become very burdensome for me, especially today, as a movie had three commercial breaks. I ended up spending around 10 minutes trying to find the end of the commercials, restarting the movie multiple times to skip past the ads.

I hope this problem can be fixed.

I had something similar in the past with the old plutotv plugin and OpenVIX 6.6. I used gstplayer instead of exteplayer. It did help. It did not always start immediately, but at least it did not get stuck during breaks. Also, there is a plugin, called "quarterpounder", which allows you to restart the stream with a button press. You may want to try it as well.

Scratching my head too... Yes, it worked with the previous version like a charm. It took some seconds to sync, but then it was stable like a rock. I am using exteplayer3 v.181 and PlutoTV v. 3.0.3 fresh from the Github. Like I mentioned, I get some image, but it takes long to start and then it's frozen most of the time. Often it does not even start. It happens equally with OpenVIX and OpenATV, so the reason must be common to both. I went through the Pluto code, but my Python knowledge is marginal and I didn't find anything obvious. I hope someone else can help, Pluto TV is important to me.

I copied from git v.3.0.3 and works great. In ServiceApp, be sure to set Exteplayer3 as the default player. OpenAtv 7.6 Beta, DM800se.

Thank you, I just tried this. No luck. It's the same as with OpenVIX, only chunks of images and a lot of stuttering.

I'll leave it for now and hope someone else comes up with a solution for boxes with a weaker processor.

on openatv 7.6 I only updated the pluto tv plugin from the openatv panel now everything works I hope it was helpful (menu button followed by plugin update plugin update pluto tv) zeta gemma h92hse

Not working for me with ZGemma H8. Only black screen. I'll play around a bit more, but I guess the processor and the video player of the H8 are just too weak.

Not working with ZGemma H8 and OpenVIX 68 003 AND the latest PlutoTV from Github. When I use exteplayer3 I can see a very stuttering image. No image at all with the standard mediaplayer.

I just installed Openvix 6 8 and the Pluto plugin. It's not working though. "There is no data, it is possible that Pluto TV is not available in your country". That's wrong, Pluto is available here without account. What could that be?

I just checked what this update does. You can now download the channel list using Samsung TV streams instead of Pluto TV streams. (Live TV mode Samsung TV). Basically the same channels, but it replaces the adds with a background screen. As a consequence the picture doesn't freeze anymore during advertisements .

    Great work!

This happens to me with Gstplayer as well. I am using Zgemma H9SSE. Exteplayer3 works better for me. However, particularly with PlutoTV, Exteplayer3 sometimes hangs during advertising and I have to restart the stream. You can change players in the serviceapp.

Thanks everybody involved, I had the original version that was limited to one country. This one is a huge improvement! Works fine on Zgemma H9S-SE and OpenSpa.
