Not working for me with ZGemma H8. Only black screen. I'll play around a bit more, but I guess the processor and the video player of the H8 are just too weak.

  • I copied from git v.3.0.3 and works great. In ServiceApp, be sure to set Exteplayer3 as the default player. OpenAtv 7.6 Beta, DM800se.

Thank you, I just tried this. No luck. It's the same as with OpenVIX, only chunks of images and a lot of stuttering.

I'll leave it for now and hope someone else comes up with a solution for boxes with a weaker processor.

  • Imusing latest openatv 7.6 v3 on my zgemma h7s and done all the changes and yep its working again thanks. here is the full folder to replace in extensions its in rar format so extract it.

    Not working with OpenPLI

Did you change Live tv mode to JMP2 and save then reboot ?

Where is this option found? In "live TV mode" I only find Original, Roku TV and Samsung TV.

    Pluto tv 3.0.2 version

I doubt the processor is the problem, because your Zgemma H8.2 is much more powerful than my DM800se. The same goes for the device's memory (your Zgemma vs DM800se, 512 / 128 Mb). If you watched Pluto normally with the previous version, I don't see why it wouldn't work with the new one. Maybe the problem now is because it only works with Exteplayer 3. This is just a stream. What version of Exteplayer 3 do you have? Old version v.68 or v.181.

You need v. 3.0.3 and should work in most images. In v. 3.0.2 does not have JMP2, but only in old versions that no longer work. In the new version there is only Live mode - Original.

  • Scratching my head too... Yes, it worked with the previous version like a charm. It took some seconds to sync, but then it was stable like a rock. I am using exteplayer3 v.181 and PlutoTV v. 3.0.3 fresh from the Github. Like I mentioned, I get some image, but it takes long to start and then it's frozen most of the time. Often it does not even start. It happens equally with OpenVIX and OpenATV, so the reason must be common to both. I went through the Pluto code, but my Python knowledge is marginal and I didn't find anything obvious. I hope someone else can help, Pluto TV is important to me.

  • I returned the setting in ServiceApp to the original and in the settings of the Pluto plugin for bouquets ServiceExtPlayer 3 (5002). There is a problem with Pluto VOD because the movie stops after a few seconds, but the channels work normally. You may not have noticed that after selecting any channel, the video resolution increases gradually (sd to hd or fhd). It is the same with Pluto VOD. I did this because of HDF Radio because if exteplayer 3 is in ServiceApp then in the plugin you do not have the name of the artist / song, album cover and youtube. For those who have Kodi (on my Android TV) Pluto TV has also been fixed. For those of you who don't have it working or are having problems installing it, I hope you can figure it out. By the way, thanks to the developers for the quick fix.

  • Yep 3.0.3 from githubs pluto tv workson everything. I did using telnet

    Code
    opkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-plutotv

    then I did

    Code
    opkg update

    and finally

    Code
    opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-plutotv

    then reboot.

  • I just installed Openvix 6 8 and the Pluto plugin. It's not working though. "There is no data, it is possible that Pluto TV is not available in your country". That's wrong, Pluto is available here without account. What could that be?

After the error message appears, use the menu to set VOD to a valid country an save it.

Then it also works in regions where PlutoTV is not available. VPN is not required.

  • After the update via Telnet, all channels are working again. However, the following problem occurs: During commercial breaks, the picture freezes at the end of an ad in the advertising session, and the sound speeds up until finally there is no sound at all. This is very frustrating and exhausting because I constantly have to switch channels and rewind to figure out when the commercials end.

This is especially annoying when watching a movie from the VOD list, where the picture freezes during ads, and I have to turn off and restart the movie repeatedly to carefully find the exact moment when the commercials end.

This issue has become very burdensome for me, especially today, as a movie had three commercial breaks. I ended up spending around 10 minutes trying to find the end of the commercials, restarting the movie multiple times to skip past the ads.

I hope this problem can be fixed.
