Hi All,

My friend has shared his libraries with me, once I accepted his invite I could view content which worked fine for around 10mins, now I keep getting "no data" which ever shared folder I try and access. M8 has confirmed all is well his end.

When trying to access shared libraries via android I get error "Plex is having trouble communicating with Win7-PC: Timed out waiting for the remote server to respond".

Can anyone shed any light into what to try?

Are the shared libraries suppose to be visible via the desktop client as they are not.

I notice the duplicate user's now and again and more often on a certain user - but put it down to crappy ISP changing IP. I did previously used to restart server during the night but stopped as did not see or know of any benefits.

I will monitor the reader when/time it's restarts

Thanks for confirming server looks in good shape, how could you tell?

don't really have a issue with glitching it's just the reader restarts it's self every 24hrs and I can tell when it does as the picture freezes and then its perfect again???

I normally notice as when watching tv the picture freezes e.g. webif server has been online for over 7 days and the reader only 32mins

You need to disable user in oscam webif for the failban to kick in, well it did for me.

UPDATE....

Still with my config settings but changing mhz to 357 in oscam.server and adding a dvbapi user for myself in Oscam.user.

Tried your build #7425 with same fault
Tried latest build #7675 which has been on for 8hrs :)

Just when I thought all was resolved, just checked Webif and the server's been knocked off/on :(

I've just noticed your using a different build to me where I'm using build #7505 and there also a newer build made available yesterday #7675 found here

So my plan of action

• Try latest build #7675
• Try your build #7425
• Copy your complete config making changes were needed

I have changed mhz to 357 in oscam.server as advised and I noticed I didn't have a dvbapi user for myself in Oscam.user.

I will compare like for like config but will see how I get on first with above changes

I was about to do away with VIX and try Blackhole which I understand to be more reliable with oscam, but if yours is working perfect I must be doing something wrong!

I have only found one compatible version of Oscam for Vix OE3.0 Images found here Which is OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build #7505

Oscam keeps disconnecting about 7 times a day and restarts after a few mins unless I manually start in Softcam Manager > Green

I'm using the only stable Image Build:205 but currently the unstable build is up to 339.

There must be a stable build Oscam.
