If using the Key file from post 186 you will need to separate the 4120v from the others like this. ECM keys for 4120V havn't changed since May 2024 and are different from the other Paramount transponders.

I just installed Openvix 6.6.006 to see if I could get oscam-emu working on it here. I downloaded oscam-emu from the downloaded plugins menu under softcams. the version at this time of install is 11817-802. The configs are installed at etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu. Replace those with your configs and reboot.

To start the softcam go to Softcam Management / Softcam Script ( Not Softcam Manager) then set SoftcamScrpt select camscript to oscam-emu and save.

Working Fine for me.

Those are ecm keys. If the handheld has emm keys they may be built in the emu and hidden but I am not sure.

I was up late, I was struggling with 127W and found most of my troubles to be config related; however I still have a few random channels that sometimes will roll and work and other times, most of the time, will either not work at all or will only play back audio on that particular bird. Reelz is the only channel (FTA) I really care about on 127W but the fact that my v8 finder with just a small handful of pv keys (see below) can decrypt those problematic ones that my H7S cannot drives me crazy. So in regard to these "auto ECM keys" that GTMedia uses successfully to descramble almost everything, is there a mechanism in oscam-emu or ncam to auto try these given keys when descrambling is otherwise unsuccessful?

A "catch all and try these until one works or we run out of keys" option? Seems this is how GTMedia is doing it? Seems it could potentially save us all some time since these appear to be mostly "default" keys?

I'm sure the emu in the GT Media works the same or similar as ncam or oscam. There is some EMM keys in the GT that grabs the auto ECM keys just a different format than enigma2. Never had The GT media myself so I don't know anything about it.

Assuming I'm a linux guy and programmer who just reentered this hobby after 20 years with nagra being my last fun, can you point me in the right direction for reading material? I don't necessarily need to be spoonfed but I've more or less jumped into the deep end without really learning how to tread water first on some subjects.

Looking at the softcam key from this thread it only has ecm keys for the service Revolt HD so no auto roll but it should open the service. If using the softcam key posted in post 132 on this thread it has the wrong channel hash in your log. So fix the channel hash and if not opening you may need an updated emu or better configs.

Just checked and no problem here with UA: 005C379D and oscam-emu r11718-798. If the older version did what you needed then use that.

Im not sure why either, I know I never had to wait 40mins for au until I added the fake cw. I removed it and two different channels au in under 7 mins

I don't use any fake cw file myself but I can see it taking 40 mins if you have only a few emm keys on a long cycle service. Those viacom transponders on 101w and 105w have a one and a half hour cycle. I got a bunch of emm keys for those ranging from 0051xxxx-006E3XXX. That helps. luckily the keys don't change often.

Did you get the channels 0n 3880 back? Seems to be back to normal the log file is moving now and keys do roll with EMM.

I also tested this transponders EMM on 105w 4020 and it rolled. I now put both transponders in the same group as they use the same.

I do see now the log file is not moving but the old keys and emu is opening the channels. Something is going on with 3880.

Nothing changed on my end. have you restarted the emu? check the key file for bad updated keys if that happened disable your EMM.

How/where are the verimatrix keys stored, pray tell?

Looking at log on AFN it shows VM caid disabled so it is not active and no VM key is needed for that caid. PV is active. Do you have an active EMM?

i use my wifi on my osmio 4k+. But that is me.

I do keep my internet on when I use slot 1. No oscam on that slot just FTA and legal iptv. Just don't like the idea of oscam and the internet thats just me.
