Zgemma H2.H running OpenATV 7.3

Hi, I'm fairly new to OpenAtv and want to install KodiLite.

I've downloaded the .IPK file and have read how to install it but what do I do with the .DEB file?

I've got a Zgemma H.2H running openATV 7.3.20240224

EDIT-1

I went ahead and used the .IPK file and KodiLite appears to have installed OK, I'm off to find an Add On and see if that works.

EDIT-2

I tried "The Promise" Add On and it's Scripts, but nothing played. I got loads of Menu options for Film genres, years ETC plus TV options such as Channels ETC but nothing actually played.

I have hopefully attached the Logs, maybe someone can help.

Assuming the timer has been set up, press menu on button and select timers -> Autotimers -> Eastenders now click the yellow button and change filter to 'on weekday', if it has 'include ....' then highlight it and then press the yellow button to delete. now press the green button three times (until back on timers menu) to save changes and then exit back to tv picture.

Now if you press the timers button on remote, you should see timers set for the next week.

Thanks for the info, I was leaving "Only on weekday" selected, I misunderstood what that meant. I assumed it would record on weekdays but not the weekend.

I've now changed that but when I check the timers that are set it looks like it's gone a bit mad.

I've had a look at the thread you suggested (I had read it previously, when I first set up this box) but I can't see anything obvious that I have wrong.

One thing I didn't do is to load the epgimport plugin, but as I get most of the channels filled in I'm a bit reluctant to try something different in case I make it worse.

As I mentioned above I'm using Autobouquetsmaker on my Zgemma H.2H

I'm not sure why but not all of the Channels have a screen full of programs when I first open the EPG.

Some are blank but if I zap to the channel and then go back to the EPG the channel gets filled in?

Is autobouquetsmaker not updating properly?

I can set timers from my EPG no problem, but Autotimers never find anything.

I use Auto bouquets maker on my Zgemma H.2H running OpenATV 7.3

I guess I'm doing something wrong, but can't think what, I use the standard Autotimer setting and the only thing I do is to Uncheck the "record on a particular day" option.

Thanks for your advice, using the manual method I now have a concise "Favourites" bouquet which has my favourite channels from Freeview, Freesat and Sky free to air channels. Wicked

I've discovered that this is a Skin Issue.

The Skin I was using didn't name my Bouquets, but after trying others I have found that some do show the names but others don't.

I have now changed to one that does and all is good.

I have just 4 Bouquets set up on my Zgemma H.2H but on the EPG it doesn't show which of the Bouquets I am viewing.

Is there an option in the settings or is it a Skin related thing

I'm using Openatv 7.3 and Slyk Onyx 1080

I've only just got Topicks working, does this mean it will stop working now?

Sorry if I'm not doing things the right way around, but I wanted to get the NAS working, to be sure the Zgemma acted how I was expecting it too (which it did).

I read your epiconizer thread but I got confused about local source. At one stage you do say regional channels are in local source, but later it said a second local source install was not required.

I've tried a local source install, but it only shows one Indian channel. Am I supposed to put something in there?

I already had my box setup to record to my NAS drive, so I just had to create an extra folder for the picons to go into.

I managed that and I now have loads of picons, but for some reason I don't have any picons for the ITV channels, very strange.

I have a Zgemma H2.H that I bought from Ebay.

A message keeps popping saying "Mem Cleared"

I have no idea what it means (if anyone does I would love to know) but it has spurred me on to create and store a backup in case it all goes Pete Tong.

If anyone has a quick and simple method of backing up everything and re-loading it back to a dead machine, I would be very grateful.

I'm on my way to experiment and see if I can make my own Bouquet without breaking anything else.

I don't know how to create or edit a list of my favourite channels for use in my "Favourites" Bouquet.

I'm probably being very dumb (nothing new actually) but I can't figure out how to Create and Keep an EPG full of my favourite Channels

I've used Auto Bouquets Maker to make 4 Bouquets.. Terrestrial, Sky FTA, Freesat and Favourites.

The first three work exactly as I expected, but unsurprisingly the Favourites EPG is empty.

How do I pick my Favourites from the 3 other EPGs and get then into the Favourites EPG in the order I would like.

Please be gentle with me.
