I have installed surfshark running on a vu duo2 with openpli7.3 but I am missing kernel-module-xt-multport and kernel-module-xt-conntrack for the kill switch. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thanks

Hello All
Installed version 1.1.4 on a Zgemma H9.2H SE running openpli 8.1 (couldn't install version 1.1.6).
The very first time I run the plugin and started openvpn it conected fine to my vpn. The proble is, after restarting my enigma receiver, I could not access internet anymore. My receiver receives no IP (if HDCP is enable) and if I set DHCP to off it wont accept the imputed manual IP. Doing a network test shows that I have no IP and am not connected to the internet.
More, if I try to change my network configuration (I have bothe LAN an wifi interfaces) my receiver crashes.
I had to re-install OpenPli and started everything from the begenning, with the same result.
If I run OpenSpa instead of OpenPli it will run OK!
So, is there any way I can set it properly in a OpnenPli image?

Hi Did you have a problem after installing the plugin saying"No module named subprocess" ? I already have v.1.1.4 running on dreambox 800SE but due to an error I needed to re-install the image again and I never be able to install the plugin
I had an error on a later version similar error on the latest ipk but not 1.14. I may of tried python 3 when mine is python2

I have also Pure2 image in my box. Go to e2iplayer settings and change "Select Gitlab repository owner" to Max or Zadmario ( which you want ).
Click on Update and then will be updated to latest version. Auto check for plugin update must be "yes". My is "no" because I use e2iplayer
by enigma 1969. About CartoonHD host, this host is not updated in Zadmario version already 2 years, but Max is updated before about two months.
In attach is hostcartoonhd.py file by Max. Replace this file in host folder and see if will work.
Thank you Panda, I did try your method . I only have http://zadmario.gitlab.io and http;//iptvplayer.pl as an option. I clicked on http://zadmario.gitlab.io and changed gittab repository to maxbambi. I clicked update . I got a green tick on add repository last version, gitlab version from maxbambi was downloaded successfully but the rest of the list are show red crosses. How do I tell if anything as changed here as the version is showing the same version 2020.10.04.01 and also the links seem to be dead.. Thanks for your tutorial. Cartoon network up and running. :thumbup:
In e2iplayer settings I ticked update the packet type to all types... Now the updates are coming come down :eye roll:

Managed to copy and paste in the IPTV folder from masters download, I was getting the blue screen if I tried to configure it from configeration
just got this annoying message
openssl could not be found please reinstall it and retry
Not sure if this is important but e2iplayer is adequate
I did try and delete the IPTv Cache folder but for some reason it will not allow me to delete.

I have been trying all day to get the latest e2iplayer on Pure2, I know you said about security but I just wanted to say that I have done it... But I failed...
I did manage to put it on my other favourite image ;) so I am not a complte moron....but I really want to give pure2 image a go...:bulb:

When I was installed e2iplayer from feed I think it was version by Mario repo ( also with the latest online update for v. 6.2 from 12.07 for DM800SE ).
Why you didn't update e2iplayer from feed in pure2 image, then from zadmario gitlab. If you have maybe pure2 v. 6.5 version in your box
then it is not recommended to add manually, only over online update as written by gorski. Maybe that's why you have the installation
problems which you described in your post above.
Hi Panda, I just flashed the 13.12.2020 build pure2 v.6.5-001 then went straight into download plugins-e2iplayer (git3615+bc626f3-r24p) - rebooted - loaded e2i player version 2020/10.04.01 - configuration - update is off - preferred update server has 2 options, 1 is iptvplayer.vline.pl and the 2 option is zadmario gitlab io. I have only used pure2's server. I clicked on zadmario and went on update, went back into configeration and changed it to maxbi, rebooted and still looks the same, went back into configeration and now mosz_nowy is in the list. But I dont really see anything different when I update these repositories.. Cheers

Ha, sorry: I am not using E2iPlayer for a while now, so I don't remember which repo we're using in our version, Mario's or Bambi's - sorry for the possible confusion...
Either way, the plugin will change E2 system and other libs, as it is aggressive, if you update from within the E2iPlayer and not from PurE2 SW update!
-----One more time: an explanation of the differences between PurE2 version of E2iPlayer and all the other versions------
Now, given we use advanced versions of FFmpeg, SSL, GCC and so on, usually ahead of E2iPlayer and other images, this means PurE2 might now work as well as it is capable after update from E2iPlayer itself. As I warned you, PurE2 is a well integrated system, usually ahead of the curve, by comparison to other images... terrajoe is in charge of that and he setup our version of E2iPlayer.
So, we are making our version of E2iPlayer from one of the GITs (mario or bambi?). This is not a version you see in ipk format!
Important! Franc discovered there were some security flaws, if memory serves in TS player, which exposed one's box, which our coders have then removed from our build, of course.
So, our version is safer to use but the downside is that sometimes all the current changes might not be 100% up-to-date.My advice would be not to update the plugin from E2iPlayer but either
1) wait for PurE2 SW update (subject to Terra's free time and energy) or if you can't wait
2) update E2iPlayer manually via FTP, as instructed by Panda555 or other colleagues who do this all the time...

But beware: E2iPlayer is written in such way so as to aggressively overwrite the libs already present in an E2. Which means this will no longer be PurE2 as intended!!! And it is a carefully integrated system...

M8, can you, please, have a look at this, if you find the time....
It seems the latest updates are missing somehow... Although, I know we are building from Mario's GIT - still, worth checking out, occasionally, I guess... :)
P.S. Terrajoe is in charge of building E2iPlayer in PurE2 Team, so he sets up how we build E2iPlayer, safely, without security holes and nonsense which sometimes find their way into it...

Reflashed back and downloaded off the pure2 downloads but no streams working that I can find.... I might give up satellite receivers and buy a fishing rod. It might be good for my mental health :joythink:

How do I resolve Openssl could not be found error? I tried telnet with the following wget h**p://www.e2iplayer.gitlab.io/sslinstall.sh -O - | /bin/sh but I got the same error...
Any ideas Please... running pure2 image with a Vu Duo2

Cartoon HD works fine and most links work. Here in attach is also new update for tsiplayer ( from yesterday ). From gitlab, Max is
also updated host webstream and try to fix wiziwig1.eu host. For this update please go to Max gitlab and download IPTVPlayer
and change webstream in host and urlparser in libs.
Do you copy and paste the iptv folder to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/? I tried this method but no links to cartoon network streams work. I have E2iplayer 2020.10.04.01 installed with pure2 here. Thanks
