Have been testing kodi also on different images on my sf8008 some time ago.

OpenSpa was working fine and Hyperion was also working.

But i went back to my android box with kodi. As the video quality just seemed off.

Hello. I hope i'm in the right section here. And that it's ok to ask about this setup here.

I havent been active for some years on oscam because of busy work life. I got some time now, so decided to do an update on my oscam.
Also not that very good with linux just have some basic knowledge.
I'm very sure my setup needs an update. Because i havent been active for a long time i dont know whats the best current setup with cache exchange.
Looking around on some forums i noticed i need to change my wait times ? Because of hits ? Can somebody give me some advices ?
Also advice if i need to change some other settings.
Some examples of their configurations ? And i've been reading about normal oscam and oscam-emu. Whats the difference ?
I'm now running on oscam 2.25.01-11866

It was set on transponder time. Installing add-ons works now.
But now i'm having another problem with trying to play some video. Now that doesnt work

Have this problem now in OpenBH, And in OpenVIX there is the same problem.
Dont have this problem in OpenATV / OpenPLI. but screen resolution is not good on those images.

Hi guys. I have been trying out different images. OpenBH looks promising.
But i'm having problems with kodi. i cant seem to install any add-ons.
With other images like OpenATV / OpenPlI. Installing Add-ons works. but the screen resolution is 1280x720
With OpenBH the screen resolution seems to be good. Only cant install anything.

I'm more searching if there is an app launcher possibility for enigma2.

Like there is launchers for ubuntu. Cant find if something like this exist for enigma2.

Hello. I just got myself an octagon sf8008 4k uhd.

So far i feel its a great stb. I'm only still figuring out wich firmware is best for my needs.

I have been googling around, and trying different firmwares. So far as for the use of satellite tv i got a good impression of Pure2 and OpenBH.

But i also had a good impression of Define OS.

That it has kind of launcher. With a menu on screen to choose for kodi, netflix. But i wasnt very impressed of the satellite settings of Define OS.

So does somebody maybe know if there is a firmware that has a menu like Define OS and satellite options like OpenBH, Pure2 ?

Or if i can create some kind of button or widget in these firmwares? For kodi, netflix. Instead of going to the plugin list all the time. Thanks!

I have an Canal Digital NL card. caid 0100:00006a

I have tryed to block these sids on different caids

But when i put this in the whitelist, 0100 is also blocked.

When i put in the white list this w:0100:00006a then everything works again on 0100.
But when i want to block just one sid after on 0100 it's not working.
