Since I came to this forum,I have made appreciable post almost 40 but the fact still remains that I cannot make a very good post
The last but two post I made was very nasty and unkempt,I have looked through the forum as to whether a sticky thread explains and teaches that but no.
when it comes to writing very detailed post like
1.posting a link to a thread (which normally comes in yellow)
2.posting detailed issues with a white background
3.adding colours to post and some smiley's

please can the admins post a sticky thread where new members can read the rules of the game/introduce themselves/and read how to post on the forum.

I have been reading a lot abt csp lately,but a post from my brother Master G explained it all in a lame mans understanding
then my brothen Thatfellow also took the pains to show how to install csp on linux distros(Ubuntu)
Its has been very good so far but just like mother eagle teaching the eaglet how to fly and leaving the eaglet when it has not yet learnt how to fly
master G mentioned that Csp has three parts
1.profiles
2.users
3.connectors
pls can someone explain in a lame mans understanding how to configure the three for a linux server?
i also read ppple mentioning multiple cache*multiCs.......etc..pls can someone oblige us by explaining what they mean?

I have a d*tv unmarried card setup in my Dm 500s with oscam latest version
everything looks ok but still get a black screen,its a 0604 caid card just like n*va @ hotbird 13 e
please I heard a special oscam can do the trick,any input will be very much appreciated

pls i need a link to buy omnikey card reader

from the reading of the tutorial this is what i figured out,u tried using ur Dm 500s to read the entire card and forward the entitlements to the pc server
but in my case,the dm 500s is only acting as a replacement for the smargo and the oscam version that reads my card is not the mipsel version but the pc version
so i cannot read entirelly the card in my dm but just to use it as a replacement for my smargo

I have recently seen a lot of images flooding the forum with inscription oe 2.0 or oe 1.6
some come as unstable,I want to ask if the image can be used on a clone dm 800se sim 2.1.0 with BCM4505 tuner
i flash some of them and my box refused to boot,others like pli boot but says tuner empty?

i have ubuntu server which was working fine until yesterday evening when the server went off
when i go to oscam webif status it says error(no entitlements),also when i go to readers and select show entitlement,it does not give me entitlement
i have the following in readers, blockemm unknown and global
this is my first time experiencing this,and i think the subscription ends/the card expires 3rd january 2013

hi guys,
I realised most of the tutorials on installing webmin with ubuntu server 12.04 did not work for me,so i found a much easier way to do that
for those using oscam with newcamd protocol with port 10000 should change to another port otherwise the method will not work because the default port for webmin is 10000

here we go

Open putty and run the following command

sudo apt-get install perl libnet-ssleay-perl openssl libauthen-pam-perl libpam-runtime libio-pty-perl apt-show-versions python

Now you need to download webmin deb package using the following command

wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge…dmin/webmin_1.580_all.deb

Install downloaded package using the following command

sudo dpkg -i webmin_1.580_all.deb

restart your server

This will install webmin now you need to access https://ubuntu-serverip:10000
