am I the only one whos' oscam doesnt work on 8.0 ?
For the Octagon sf8008 4K, take some Oscam .ipk, copy it to the /tmp folder, click on Oscam and select installation from the drop-down menu. You must be connected to the internet for Oscam to install properly, and then restart the receiver. This procedure applies to all versions of OpenATV.
I did that already and didnt work,
s2gus24 had the working solution, just have to keep that install line somwhere for future reference

you can check post no #73 or disable LAN using " ip link set eth0 down" in terminal
-
In my case there is no function issue, but both network interfaces are active and LAN cannot be deactivated (I can switch it to OFF from menu, then save the setting but when exiting the menu is still active)
Code

After update both network interfaces are again active and LAN cannot be deactivated
Also can something be done with the boot logo that looks bad now ?
box is octagon sf8008
and here is the debug log: 20250102-092413-enigma2-debug.log

My debug log was not active by default and i disabled the lan with "ip link set eth0 down" and it stayed off after activating the debug log and restarting the GUI
-
The same by me, even if I disable one of it, after exiting the menu and reenter both interfaces appear as active; however wlan works without problem
-
can confirm that the upgrade from 7.5 RC1 to 7.5.1 (FLASH & Restore all) went very fast and everythings works; but the reboot time is longer now , about two minutes ... and the new logo looks now like an HD image but displayed with limited number of colors ...

is there a changelog somewhere ? cause I just installed 7.5 RC1 a few days ago and no mood now to make all the settings again if restoring doesn't work between versions
-
I think it is an openatv not oscam problem, I also have problems with local card and oscam in openatv; in openpli and defineos worked flawless, no settings required, no oscam install required; receiver is sf8008 and this happened after last (dec 19 2024) openatv 7.5rc1 update.

I have to, if no one is capable of making this one what it should be

I don't need to press anything again, I press long red to make a screenshot why should I press something again ? The screen remains frozen, otherwise would make sense to press long red to activate the script and have that menu and when you see what you want to press ok to get it.
The other plugin works just like that, you press a button and you get just the screen and a short notification with the file path; I'll stick to that for the moment.
