yes vu zero comes with 512 mb ddr3 and 256 mb flash memory
and zgemma star h2 also comes with 512 mb ddr3 and 256 mb flash memory,
it's all the same except that the cpu 750 MHz BCM MIPS of the zgemma star h2 is supposedly better than the 742 MHz cpu of the vuplus zero
Hi everyone, when I look at the technical details, both are very similar, actually the star h2 comes with the better cpu, but when I look in the forums and youtube, the vuplus is a lot faster and works smouthly with the majority of skins with no issues, while I struggle with fullhd skins and many plugins on my zgemma box even with the latest image releases, why is that ? am I doing something wrong ?
Hi everyone I have a Zgemma star h2 and I'm looking for a backup with the latest openatv image, I bought the receiver without the remote and the only one for me to use the universal remote I have is to access the settings of the device and change the remote ( the universal remote supports vuplus and dreambox but not zgemma )

I got it fixed :D .. just in case someone else dealed with something similar, it was the skin, using dcc I loged in through ftp etc-enigma2-settings in the settings file I deleted the skin line then save, and reboot and it's all good, the skin was not compatible and by deleting that line the system by auto will run the default skin instead, I found the solution in a french forum from a 2015 comment if the men behind it ever read this THANKS A LOT

so I tried to delete all the channels and bouquets using e-channelizer and also tried to switch to FULLHD skin,
don't know which crashed the device but now the device boot normally but after the counting reach 99 it goes back to 00 and remain like that,
the remote and the device buttons not respondinng
the device light is green and connected to the net
i'm able to access the device files through ftp using dcc ( can't access thourgh web ui )
I tried to usb flash using the holding power button but it shows nothing but " boot " and conitnue to boot till shows the zeros again
don't know if there's a way to flash from dcc or from pc in general
any help much appreciated
Hi everyone.... New to the club, don't know how crazy my question may sound but, can I build my own Enigma 2 receiver?? Like from A to Z ? What are the hardware requirements? Where can I buy a dvb-s2x tuner ? ( I looked at Alibaba with no luck .. with the system being open source I see no logic on why one can't build his own E2 receiver even a combo one with android included ... So, if it's possible show me where t start 😃
