    Sorry for late reply guys. Everythings working fine with the reader on windows so ill just stick with this setup, although ecm times are a little higher than on linux, but i can live with that.

    Thanks for your help:)

    Thread can now be closed.

    pow :Close the thread:

    Well...i've had some success finally :)

    Working absolutely fine on oscam x86_64-pc-cygwin verison / Win10 OS. No issues reading the card and most importantly, restarting the reader in oscam!

    the device wasn't '/dev/ttyUSB0' and not even USB1, 2 or 3. I had a quick search around and found that I needed to use the unlimited reader software found on the manufacturers website, to put the reader in VCP (Virtual COM Port) mode, and then I was able access it on oscam using 'device = dev/ttyS2'.

    I've never used oscam in cygwin enviroment before but hopefully it will work and run the card just as well as in linux.

    I will post back again once i've tested it out completely and let you know the results.

    No good news unfortunately!

    'detect = !cd' in config while still using 'device = /dev/ttyUSB0' just gives the following and does not read the card

    '2024/08/24 15:39:51 4F4A6301 r (reader) infinity [mouse] Reader initialized (device=/dev/ttyUSB0, detect=!cd, mhz=369, cardmhz=369)'

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    root@debian:~# ls /dev/serial/*/*

    device = /dev/serial/by-id/usb-WB_Electronics_Infinity_USB_Unlimited-if00-port0

    /dev/serial/by-path/pci-0000:00:14.0-usb-0:4:1.0-port0

    Using 'detect = !cd' & 'device = /dev/serial/by-id/usb-WB_Electronics_Infinity_USB_Unlimited-if00-port0' just gives the same as above, detects reader but does not read card.

    I tried all the different options for card detect that oscam lists in the reader config 'cd (default), cts, dsr, ring, none' all without any success:(

    Lastly using 'device = /dev/serial/by-id/usb-WB_Electronics_Infinity_USB_Unlimited-if00-port0' and the default 'detect = cd' behaves same as first post

    jenseneverest Thank you very much for your reply but no luck unfortunately:( I already had simplebuild on my debian pc, so I build the latest oscam and still behaving the same. Also, restarting oscam doesn't do anything, as i say the only way to get the reader working again is to manually unplug and plug in again.

    I thought I'd share the full picture -

    When the reader is disabled on oscam Its almost seems like debain is keeping the usb device in use when it's not?!

    Hi lads,

    Got an issue with my new infinity unlimited usb reader on oscam. Setup: Optiplex 3050 mff pc with debian 32bit, Oscam v11724

    Cards reads OK but then when I restart the reader on oscam, it doesn't read again and gives me the below error in the log, and the only way to get it working again is to manually unplug the reader and plug back in.

    [mouse] ERROR: Phoenix_Init returns error

    My config -

    [reader]

    label = infinity

    protocol = mouse

    device = /dev/ttyUSB0

    caid = 0B02

    detect = cd

    mhz = 369

    cardmhz = 369

    group = 1

    I've looked all over the web for a solution to no avail. I know its not a faulty reader has I have 2 more of these unlimited readers and all 3 do the same.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Ste

    Hi guys,

    I need some help!

    Have 2 services - 1 with epg data and 1 without it, they are same channels just different sids and transponders

    I currently get my epg data from rytec sources on crossepg

    Is there any way of getting the epg data to show on both services?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ste

    2019-07-10-raspbian-buster-lite, that is the latest image I downloaded from the official raspberrypi site. I've tried with the full version as well and getting the same issue.

    Everytime I run the command I seem to get a different outcome, for example I just ran it again and got this -

    root@raspberrypi:~# cd /usr/src

    root@raspberrypi:/usr/src# svn co http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn

    Im trying to install oscam on the lastest rasbian-buster-lite following this guide Oscam server setup guide - Raspberry Pi from scratch.

    Everything has gone well upto when I do svn co http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn

    this is what I get:

    A oscam-svn/Distribution

    A oscam-svn/Distribution/doc

    A oscam-svn/Distribution/doc/html

    A oscam-svn/Distribution/doc/man

    A oscam-svn/Distribution/doc/txt

    I've ftp'd into the oscam-svn folder and it's not downloaded all the files from the web directory only the files above , does anyone have any idea why this would be?

    Any help on will be greatly appreciated!

    I've had a funny one on my conax nc+ card a few weeks ago I lost some channels but not all e.g Nat geo wild, Comedy central, tnt and more. My supplier has refreshed the card 3 times now with no luck. I'm receiving all the EMM's so I know its not that. Tried 2 different receivers and latest version of oscam. Its not the RSA as when I delete it from oscam I lose all channels.

    Don't suppose anyone else had simlar issue?

    Full Activation of the card only takes upto 2 hours. I think you should ask your supplier to resend activation make sure you stay on TVP 1 HD for 2 hours when they send it also make sure blockemm-u = 0 is set. After 2 hours then check you are able to receive all channels you have paid for.

    Remember though to set back to blockemm-u = 1 after your package activation is successful.

    Here is the config for nc+ conax card working 100% once you have the rsa.

    [reader]

    label = smart

    protocol = pcsc

    device = 0

    caid = 0b01

    rsakey = (you will receive this from your supplier)

    detect = cd

    group = 1

    emmcache = 1,3,2

    blockemm-unknown = 1

    blockemm-u = 1

    blockemm-g = 1

    As I said to you in pm allow unique emm only to activate the card then block uq emm after activation.

    Tehwiz will definitely send you the rsa with your conax card well in my case they emailed it to me. Wish I had just renewed my conax card now last year instead of getting a seca one it was just cheaper to get that with full pacakage at the time than renewing my conax card.

    They have asked me send them the seca card back to check it but have said it is likely nc have stopped it.

    Not even sure if nc is planning to eventually be narga only and get rid of conax has anyone heard anything on this?
