    Members Portal: https://member.streamlensplayer.com

    Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/…?id=com.streamlens.player

If you enjoy the app, an honest review on Google Play would mean a lot to us and help other users discover it.

I have already replied to your inquiry and informed you that your code was not yet activated at that time. What I am seeing now on the system is that your code was activated on 2025-04-04 and linked to your Dreambox Two, with the same MAC address you communicated before in a private message.

Just be sure that you didn't change your MAC address before. If yes, then the only solution for you is to flash with a new image, message me to release your code, and then install the plugin and activate it again; it will work.

    it never worked as described

it will not work unless you develop plugin to control it like on / off

We already had a conversation before via private message, and I provided all the information you had asked for, then you didn't reply. For me, the basic understanding is that your problem is resolved.

If it didn't work for you, that doesn't mean it is not working as described, as others are using it just fine.

You can refer to this video, it might help you to understand how you can enable it

    Hope to have that

Vlc was working on that if they finished maybe we can see that's on enigma2

"I hope it will be possible as soon as possible too. By the way, isn’t the Ai subtitle not useful for IPTV channels that already have subtitles, like the Nova package ?(Greece)

Nova is not using standard subtitle packets; they are burning the subtitle in the video stream, which is why it is not even detected as a subtitle track.

It depends on the IPTV provider stream, if it is including DVB or Teletext subtitle then it should work, but there are other standards as well might not be handled in Enigma2 and used in IPTV

So this only works if the remote control's "Subtitles" button allows me to open the menu and select subtitles? Actually, there are some satellite channels that don't allow me to turn on subtitles or even open the menu. Since no IPTV channel offers the option to select subtitles at all, I assume it won't work. Do you perhaps have a plan for the future to redesign this extension and offer more options? I simply can't believe that this AI subtitles translation can only work with "DVB or Teletext".

This is not a limitation on our side. It depends on the streaming providers. What we do is process subtitles that are already part of the stream, whether it's DVB-S2 or IPTV, but the stream must include subtitle packets.

Most IPTV providers use transcoders that change the original stream a lot to reduce its size while keeping good quality for online streaming. These changes often remove extra data like subtitle packets.

Also, many IPTV providers "burn" the subtitles directly into the video during transcoding, and they usually include only one language based on their target audience.

Many people think AI is just tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. That’s partly true, they are part of a category called Generative AI. But AI has been around for a long time. In the past, it needed powerful supercomputers and was mostly used by governments due to the high cost. Things changed when GPUs started being used instead of supercomputers, making AI more accessible and open-source.

When it comes to writing code using Generative AI, think of it like using Google search in the old days. You still need to know the basics of what you're looking for so you can ask the right question, or in AI terms, write the right prompt. One of the common issues with Generative AI is that it rarely says “I don’t know.” Instead, it gives you an answer even if it’s not correct or what you expected.

Today, AI can improve productivity. Tasks that used to take hours can now be done in seconds, but to get accurate results, you still need to clearly understand what you’re asking for.

Personally, I don’t believe AI can handle 100% of coding tasks. Human skills are still needed to review and improve the AI’s code, since the AI learns from real developer content like GitHub, forums, and other sources.

Now that AI is a reality, I don’t think experienced developers need to worry about being replaced by people who rely only on AI without real hands-on knowledge. Real experience gives you something AI can’t the judgment to choose the best solution when there are multiple correct ways to solve a problem. For example, you might have 3 to 5 valid solutions, but only someone with real-world experience will know which one is best for the situation. Those who blindly trust AI might think all the options are equally good until they run into unexpected issues.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. Regarding the issue you reported with the motorized dish, I’ve implemented a fix and am currently in the testing phase after adding two additional settings:

    • Match Channels On Active Sat Only (Yes/No) – This setting addresses issues with motorized or multi-satellite installations by ensuring that only channels from the currently active satellite are matched.
    • Match Only TV Channels (Yes/No) – This setting filters out non-TV services such as Radio and Data, ensuring that only TV channels are considered during the matching process.

This way, users can choose the option that best suits their preferences

The update will be reflected in the main post soon.

Thank you for your feedback! Could you please let us know which voice language you selected?

As part of our testing process, we’re specifically checking how the system performs with non-English inputs. Our AI model is designed for English, so we’re using our AI-powered translation to first convert other languages into English before processing.

If this translation-based approach proves reliable, we can avoid the need to train separate models for each language

Well I tested it on an old Android phone (S 9+) and it works , of course it needs some adjustments because having a motorized dish when I say "Go to channel RAI 1 " it brings me at 5W or on other satellites where the channel is present. Nice application anyway ....thanks!

Ops , forgot to write ! the box is Octagon 8008 UHD and the image is OpenATV 7.6 alpha!

Thank you for your feedback. I will look into the possibility of navigating within the same satellite as the currently playing channel.

Regarding intent understanding, which commands have you tested? Did you explore beyond the examples provided in the post?

Also, an important question: which language did you use for the voice input?

    Hi everyone,

I'm excited to share the Beta Version 1 of our new project – AI Voice Remote Control for Enigma2 set-top boxes!

    What is it?

This app allows you to control your Enigma2-based satellite receiver using voice commands, powered by AI for natural language understanding. It supports essential commands like zapping to a channel by name, controlling volume, muting, and more — all via your voice.

    Supported Operations:

    • Zap to a channel by its name or number
    • Switch to the next or previous channel
    • Play a recorded movie by name (if stored on your HDD)
    • Control audio output: increase, decrease, mute, unmute, or set volume to a specific level
    • Manage power functions: put the device in standby, wake it up, reboot, or restart Enigma
    • And more features are on the roadmap!

    Purpose of the Beta Release

This version is released to gather feedback from real users. The AI model behind the app is still learning, and your feedback will help enhance its accuracy, language support, and command handling.

    How to Test It

    • Any crashes, bugs, or issues?

    • Suggestions for new voice commands or languages?

Please reply here with your experience and feedback.

    Reported and Confirmed Issues:

    • [FIXED - Beta 1.1]: When using a motorized dish, if the same channel is available on multiple satellites, issuing a command like 'Go to channel RAI 1' causes the system to tune to the first matching result in the channel list—regardless of which satellite is currently active or was being used by the last played channel, reported by Alienato

Beta 1.1 version is available now for download:

    • [New Setting]: Match Channels On Active Sat Only (Yes/No) – This setting addresses issues with motorized or multi-satellite installations by ensuring that only channels from the currently active satellite are matched.
    • [New Setting]: Match Only TV Channels (Yes/No) – This setting filters out non-TV services such as Radio and Data, ensuring that only TV channels are considered during the matching process

You must uninstall the previous version before installing the new Beta 1.1 release
