    Please tell me how to use chmod. I realy don't understand telnet commands and need to get oscam working on latest image.
    tried to give the folders 755 but oscam can't get started and settings jump back

    Who can help me out here?


    Installed Oscam for c-line from above.
    Converted cline with cccam to Oscam tool to be sure.


    Same results as in Kodi Oscam reader (oscam.server)


    In Kodi (OpenElec) no problem while zapping.
    In openATV sometimes have to wait 10 or 20 seconds before shows video.
    On FTA no problem so I'm sure it's encryption or Oscam problem.


    If I boot OpenElec/Kodi with same oscam.server it's all ok.


    Someone know's what to do?


    Any help would be great because I realy love the OpenATV image

  • Wetek problems since day 1

    After trying all images out there I'm sure the box is faulty.
    But how can I claim warranty if they just ignore my requests :(


    I think the box can be good but I'm still doubting about the hardware.
    The Wetek has problems with streaming (as media player) big Bluray files.
    I guess thats because of the combination of the CPU and the 1gb ram...


    I've got 2 android boxes running with 2gb ram and in kodi it works flawlesly.


    The tuner is gaving me artefacts, thats not a software problem but 100% hardware cause in every OS or image it's the same.


    Has someone a dvb-c tuner of the wetek that I can test? Just to see if my tuner is bad...?


    p.s. even Youtube / missed programs through internet / streams are giving me lipsync problems.
    Or it's not fast enough or its faulty...

  • Wetek problems since day 1

    Another day another try.
    Fresh installed everything so 100% clean.
    Kodi LiveTV freezes after few hours of watching. In VDR and tvheadend same problem
    Sometimes lag while controlling it of 10 seconds (short freeze)
    How longer it's on how more artefacts while watching channels and how more lipsync problems


    Same problem on: 5.08 and 5.95.1 and 5.95.2



    I hope I can test e2 somewhere. It thats is running good, I'll keep it (if Kodi is also running then, otherwise I can keep my dm800).
    But I'm pretty sure it's faulty...
    Now how to get it tested because wetek.com won't respond... :(


    I really trust you guys on your opinion.
    But I'm frustrated right now and feeling let down by Wetek.com
    I expected good services (that was the story) but that seems a hoax.


    I'm realy hoping E2 will come soon but can't let my wife and kid wait for weeks. Every advanced user is waiting for E2, but a lot are doubting if it's comming soon. Seems more like months/years then weeks...
    But I keep my fingers crossed...


    If someone can help me out how to reduce the artefacts and get away of the total freeze in Kodi after few hours, I can keep it...

  • Wetek problems since day 1

    Hi guys,


    Because little or none support from Wetek I ask my questions here.
    Wetek DVB-C
    Ziggo Netherlands
    OS: Wetek 1.1.4 and OE 5.95.2
    Installation within 2 meters of main TV output, al high quality satTV cables (Hirschmann and Kolka).
    Previous: 3 dreamboxe wich worked flawlesly even splitted in 3.


    Problems (Tvheadend as Wetek Theater):
    Not finding all channels
    Artefacts
    Lipsync
    Some channels won't buffer or stays black (sometimes aftre reselecting it works)
    Remote doesn't work (right button sometimes misspress and wont respond)
    All on FTA channels!


    Theater:
    Bad channellist/EPG guide


    OE:
    Freezes once every few hours


    Did several fresh clean installs without solution.
    Tried also all devel builds, including the builds of Troy and Guru


    Wetek support isn't answering my emails (accept first time with answer they gonna look in to it).


    They say it's a problem with Ziggo (provider Netherlands) and the device.
    Can someone help me out here?


    I'm out of options. I reported the problems from day 1 but now they are tellijng that the 14 days send back policy expired for me. So sad because the kept telling me to try new things and give logs...
