I dont think iptv side of things is going to meet your expectations ,best explanation for plugins is maybe to call them apps , look thru the sections for them and you will get an idea of what you can get , dont know the full spec of the box but id think you wont have much room for too many to be installed at once

go to menu /setup/searching services/tuner config and set it up there and press green button to save it , then at least when you drive the dish with the duo to a sat you have set on the max digital it will work when you try watch

I am assuming you have the vu duo and the xp1000 connected to the same dish with a motor on it and this is driven by the duo , so the duo will be driving the dish , so on the xp1000 for example you want to watch 13e , so you drive it to 13e with the duo , the xp 1000 still needs to know it can watch 13e even though you have signal and a full channel list if the tuner setup is not done xp1000 box will only think it can see what its set to eg 28e so by setting the tuner to simple mode and telling its 13 e and saving the config it will work. turn to another sat say 19e it will give you the same error , so if you like 28 e 23 e 19 e 7 e for example set your tuner on the xp1000 to think it has a diseqc switch and set the ports to 28 e 23 e 19 e 7 e and save it , then when you drive the dish to 7e with the duo and go to 7 e list on your xp1000 it will think its set to use 7e and will work amd the same fo the rest that are set , im sure this will work someone can correct me if im wrong or there is an easier way

take it you never had a tv at one point then as you managed 3 kids lol , a motor is even easier to set up than fixed lnbs , after setting up 4 lnbs on a triax dish i dreaded the thought of doing the motor but i was very surprised how easy it was an to be fair the cost of 4 twin lnbs a switch the arm to hold them ,, the motor and twin lnb cost less , the point being i took a long road for a short cut so anyone thinking of other sats just get the motor now and save money because you will only want the whole arc not part of it when you get a taste of whats out there

you will need to set your tuner , lets say the xp1000 will only be used on 13 e you need to set the tuner up like its a fixed dish at 13e because your xp1000 is not in control of the dish or you could try cheat it by telling it you have a diseqc switch and that the ports are 13e 23e 28e 19e so it will think it can just jump to these and its set up you will just have no signal if the duo isnt pointing the dish to the saty you select sat thats all

use a diseqc switch only a fiver itll do the trick

the solo 2 is same a uno mode 2 you may need to press ok and the stop button to saver it like you do on setting up the tv code not sure try it

xp was also a bad os for irq conflicts especially if devices are on cable select i assume you have ide devices to clear this you can check in system tools system information ans check for irq conflicts , you can change these but if you use the reset jumper on your mother board and reset the bios and reboot and press f2 to load setuo defaults it will load new irqs failing finding the jumper take the battery out the board and replace it after an hour and boot up

No need to feel like that but you got your answer your supplier is telling you porkies as with most it will be over subscribed they will tell you anything bet its ok during the day for you and bad at night and weekends , they have only one friend and thats money :moneygrubber:

normaly you press delete when the pc is booting up and you see your first screen if you are not good with computer i would say just load defaults , it is most likley that the asapi has been cocked up but if the defaults dont work try a system restore also this can sort this issue also find a date a week ago or so , failing that right clic my computer and select properties and go into hardware and see whats showing up in yellow with a question mark right clic uninstall it and clic sacn at the top again and it should detect it and lot it look on the internet for a driver , failing thatget back and ill think harder:laugh:

best off with 2 boxes

see if you just press record itll start you can set a time limit , but without going into the media player then down to record on the bottom left you wont see if you have says record but should be recordings

try format your pen with the box its self and , you must look for your recordings in media player where it says record not movies and you will find them
