Have Oscam 8197 & CCcam 2.1.3 on mine and it works well
-
no it wont they will be on the phone again trying to convince them to keep sly a few days to a week before it ends , the system will send out a disconnect on the day anyway automatically its 31 days notice from the time you phone up
-
the kids might be more pissed when it goes off though
-
would be a lot easier to give a share off your box to her for the amount of time you are going to get out it extra
-
find the cross epg in the menu i used that and it updates it all
-
Can it spread the wifes legs , we will be cooking with gas then every man will want it lol
-
use the open vix backup m8 get running then learn itll make things easier for you , your card will work straight away , then keep making backups before you play , download the vu+toolbox v2 also for your lines and setting up other stuff and if you go into vix youll get the latest update to 3.0.600

Your easy pleased lol

get him a box and share your card with him would be the easiest m8 if hes not over the other side of the world
-
if you have a video capture card on your pc you can link up that by cable from your box and stream over the internet using vlc , ive done that before streaming to the box is easier than trying to stream from the box by the look of it if you are not trying to stream hd youll get a usb capture card cheap on ebay youll need a rca component cable also make sure your box has the connectors ,make sure you forward port 8080 on your router
-
you got a bed and breakfast lol a box as a server will do 12 boxes on its own
-
ive got a spare lying in my cupboard i can let you have at a steal , if you are realy keen to see what its like pm me and you can test mine out ill give you the login and ill put it into my vu solo 2 instead of the f5 so you will find your way about the onscreen remote easier

you can make your box record with it and with the android app you can record with the dvr function pc player you can drag the cursor back and timeshift like with any media player , i think they are great , i do a lot of nightshift and even tonite i was watching tv here as if i was in the house , check out you tube , only buy the slingbox pro hd if you want to stream to apple and android products , if its only to a pc the older slingbox pro will do if you arent fussy for hd video it does sd , and the tuner has issues with dtv since freview upgraded but it will also tune analogue via coax it also can connect more devices , this one is the sb-200 , works good for mwhat it is but pc only streaming
-
slingbox will only connect to 1 person at a time but you have full control of your box as it uses a remote blaster and binary files are available for vu boxes if you google jp1 remotes
i have streamed divx and the likes of my pc with vlc either ip address or dns it works but from a box i didnt try that yet the slingbox i got was the best solution as i can use it from 4 sources so have an ac ryan player sat box and the ariel into it and can swap source over the internetHandy for those who dont have a sly sub and cant use sly go
-
i wouldnt think so because they are 2.1 1.1 so they will issue ip addresses respectively apart from that you are saying its working already it will have given you a conflict already , might have been easier to use a switch but if it works its fine , there are many youtube videos to show you everything
-
Had a look at this but seems you need your pc on to do this , not direct from the box its self ? am i right ? can the vlc plugin stream from the box direct to the internet like its pc version or does it just open a network stream ? slingbox pro still looks like the easy alternative

wifi isnt at all stable in these boxes , its a waste of time to be honest if you leave it on and put it to a free to air channel it wont eat up you internet or your peers ecm not that it uses a lot but itll solve your wifi issue home plugs will resolve it for you , dont even know why they sell the wifi dongles for them ive had routers they wont even connect to at all , good luck with your plugs
-
I wouldnt think you would need to have it in for dhcp to stay enabled but stranger things have happened try it , avoid wifi anyway , if you have issues with glitching its often that, most likley to be your image , try enable wifi reboot and then enable ethernet reboot then try enable dhcp , f5 boxes had a glitch after being flashed , failing that if you try specify an ip address and if your router lets you lease it permanently to the box
