    I get the same issue at times if both another wetek is on cos the remote.is wifi i recalibrated them both and it seems to have haulted now I cant use the remote on a different box where before all remotes would work all the last time i checked hope it hasnt reverted back

    Try another build of oscam first buddy wont be the first time builds have had issues with proxies , then look from there if you still have issues , provided you have tested to see that your internet connection is stable look at your router logs to verify this also

    As many people are crying for e2 this is a good looking example will be good to try and see what its like when it comes out wetek support is growing very quick e2 on a wetek is going to give satellite boxes another knock in sales this device is just far to flexable and well supported
    Thanks for the post

    Yes you can if you format it first then put the movies on it in a set folder then put it in the duo 2 it should not need initialized with a bit of luck it should be ok ive only done this in fat32 never tried ntfs , or you can ftp to the drive after but a slow process

    Is Android giving so much grief , when i tried it in the beginning i had it all working but that was a good while ago when i got my first wetek ,im surprised there is so much hassel with it im going to flash a card later and try , are you loading an e2 list for this ?

    I was when i used android but that was once and once only openelec is what i like still

    thought it was an openelec backup i was making cant keep up with you you change things all the time , ill take a fresh look at android later the sun is beaming here atm

    i know the drill Stevejo, tht been said fire deets over in ill catalog in post your recommendations with all credits off course to yerself, got a cpl oh wetek to play with and have got more free time now adayz to play, im sure the board would all agree anything to keep the kit alive is a + :)

    Not sure what you mean by this catalog and post where ? your slang english is hard to follow at times

    Make a user account the same name as dvbapi and this will get rid of anonymous and you can assign groups

    [dvbapi]
    enabled = 1
    au = 1
    user = canthackit
    boxtype = pc

    [account]
    user = canthackit
    pwd =
    description = wetek dvbapi user
    au = skyuk
    group = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, to suit readers
    cccmaxhops = 3
    cccreshare = 1
    cccignorereshare = 1

    Why does anyone really want e2 on a wetek to be honest its going backwards people only want it because its familiar , make openelec familiar to you and you wont want e2

    you need to set a a user with the same name as whats is in the dvbapi to get rid of the anonymous user and be able to assign groups properly but this isnt enough info ,got to files in webinfo and post the user ,server and conf missing out sensitive info

    Jim the box with my drive in was often sitting at about 55-60 c on hd this one is tight for space and this is about what i go with the gun taking into account it got a few seconds extra airing once upen before i got the gun on it on the other ones standard before fans were reading about 70c on hd and i was reading mid 60s once open temps taken from the heatsink , to me the standard wetek seem to run pretty high on hd after an hours running ,40c i would say is an acceptable standard but not in idle

    atm i seem to run at 50c on hd content fan installed , without a hard drive in the box ,the fans im running off a 5v reed relay triggered by usb on boot up but fed from the 12v input feed so as not to deplete the power on usb ,this was done to avoid the fan being on constantly and speed slowed to a suitable speed via resistors

    They havent been wrong at all Ive had an infrared temperature gun to test this it was not far out at all , Think its to remove a visible issue , eventually one day these chips will crack and fracture with the heating and cooling /expanding and contracting running at these heat levels ,I would not expect to get 3 years out a wetek at all this is why I installed new heatsinks and fans in mine ,Ive been a service technician in the past for 10 years and its always been the case that sat and cable boxes when it was a fashion to have them in closed cabinets , developed the issue described at lower temperatures than wetek are running at hence they are sold at throw away prices

    Just my opinion
