I would think the xp1000 to be fair its not got much spare power in it they are ok for some stuff but streaming etc hmmmmmm, have you tried it on the same network to see how long it lasts for ?

Back up all your configs and do a fresh flash rather than a backup and set it all up youll be better off and happier , i would assume there are newer images for these boxes , havent looked as i dont have one

it should work but you should have done it while you were on the phone ,its not normal for the average punter who doesnt want to stick out to be pairing to thomson boxes ,phoning back with issues after a package activation then doing some other addition online after that ,rather phone and act daft all activity on your account is logged you dont want to appear too clever ,have a think and so should everyone else reading this ,questions are starting to be raised in the call centers after that recent program although this was known about ,the average part time call center staff didnt ,they just went in to do a job now there is a bit of mumbeling going on about it and they are trying to play detective some of them to get browny points ,this is current and its fact so be aware !

your working it back to front when you power up the dish will be going to where it should be dont drive it back slacken the bracket and turn it to the right position , when i set mine up i didnt even have it on the wall i had my motor at the tv with a few feet of coax on the floor i input my coordinates to the tuner setup and made sure when i went 28.2 it looked like 28.2 the went up and lined it up via the bracket till signal was strong on 28.2 then tried a channel on 4.8 knowing it was weaker and after the box drove it there via the channel list only then i made small adjustments to the bracket again and thats all nipped it up tight and was easy done yo have started on the wrong foot best start over and stop not letting the motor do its job

did you try pair with the card in the thomson box or server when you swapped ,because its best done in the thomson box

There should be no tweaking required buddy if you update ok in oscam you should get the entitlement fine ,you may neew to phone and check and if you have multiroom make sure its not been sent to the wrong box wont be the first time those muppets have done that

Did you see emm arrive ? have you got the new entitlement?try also remove ecm whitelist seems a few peeps still use them personally i dont see the point

Have you got the entitlement for the movies ??this might be a good place to start and are you clearing sports etc ?

things to consider

make =image support and product support
flash =space for plugins/picons
ram =speed
cpu= speed
tuner=number you can use +dvb-t if needed

the rest you need to work out if you want blackhole you need vu+ boxes

i feel the solo 2 boots faster also but its a second or 2 at the most never timed it , i also fell the f5 box is a good picture but its all negligible there has been opinion the other way also never used the advanced settings for picture on the vu+ box though to try improve things as there is little in it and possibly an opinion best tested on the same tv with both boxes , you will run rings round yourself if you look too hard
