I know, I'm planning a VU+ Solo2 in October or November. I think the Duo2 is just a little bit too much but the Solo2 looks nice ...
Duo 2 is the same cpu just 750mb more flash an extra gig of ram lcd screen and takes 3.5 drives also not a big jump in speed at all , solo 2 is a good choice

Have you tried to ftp the recording to your pc and see if it plays there then you will know if its not recording properly or if its a playback issue , just been looking at your other posts and it looks like you are using a cline if this is the case make sure you can connect to watch and record as this could cause issues also if the server only allows 1 connection

For under £100 openbox 6000 hd a vu solo clone seems a good starter enigma box.
Yes but it is a clone twice removed cheap made just moving from 1 of the same doing that with little support or comeback

Is the solo 2 running same version of oscam as the solo2 maybe its as simple as and update of oscam
-
To be honest bud an xp1000 at £129 would be 100 times better than a ***box and much more functional you might want to look at one if you just want a low cost box and not too hard to setup as a client box if its your first enigma box

hope this helps you out

They wouldn't be fellow hobbyists. Looking for boxes that they can't fiddle with if you know what I mean.
I would have thought hobbyists were supposed to have boxes you can fiddle with if you know what I mean ?

it will either be your dns or you need to port forward on your router buddy if you can share locally

If i was you id just use the sponsor and then you have a warranty at least and they are new dont think youll get much discount second hand on VU boxes everyone keeps them if they are genuine and not clones
-
unzip it first then transfere to the usb stick the first folder is vuplus it should read it then if not try another usb stick, if you are just updating you can do that in the menu

anyone having problems of late?
i had my times down to 0.075 ish using a powered hub, the last few days have been very poor though, times in excess of 1 second at times.
80-110ms as normal no issues with me , maybe you want to update oscam to a newer version if your readers are ok
