Yea got it sorted
First remove the .KODI folder from you HDD via DCC or press the recording button on your remote then media hdd and DELETE .KODI folder and delete it from trashcan.
Flash VIX 5.0 onto your receiver
DO NOT do a restore for enigma 2 settings or plugins
Setup your receiver
KODI needs a usb or hdd i have hdd installed and usb pen mounted for epg (Blue button Vix mount manager) setup mounts save and reboot system

then download Kodi 17 from the plugins feeds

setup your epg skins etc after

I have the same problem on the solo2 kodi just won't launch get a black screen and jumps back to plugins. Was working fine on vix 4.2 build 30

i have a vu solo se v1

running vix 4.2 build 26

i have installed vu plus kodi from the plugins menu seems to download and install ok, when i go to launch kodi from plugins it trys to load/open kodi but then it just kicks me back to the plugins menu.

has anyone got a link to download kodi or a file for kodi already downloaded for open vix so i can try a manual install?

got it sorted

i removed sly-1-hd-skin kidd kac then reinstalled kodi from feeds kodi now working. when i reinstall the sly-1-hd skin and reboot the box it crashes will try different skin

Convert CCcam.cfg to an oscam.server file with CCcam2OScam

FTP oscam.server to /etc/tuxbox/config

Start and enable oscam softcam manager..

All sorted unplugged box for 15 min then flashed vix 4.2 build 26. Box working fine again

Hi my m8 was running open vix not sure what version on a duo 2. He preformed an online update and the duo2 would not boot up after.

He's tried to flash the latest vix image 4.2 build 23 trying all USB ports and using different USB pens all formatted to flat 32 the box doesn't seem to recognise the pen or image.

Duo2 just showing a white light on the display and say double your expectation

Also tried black hole still no joy. Any ideas what might be wrong with the box or how to fix this issue??

Hi all just a quick up date on the 4g router from EE.
So far so good getting speeds up to 50meg my solo2 and solo 4k are like new boxes now. Able to watch movies etc from kodi and ts media great job.

Had to purchase an ethernet switch as suggested to run a few other gadgets in the house but so far really impressed.

Remove all other USB pens from the box before flashing.

There was a problem with vix 4.2 build 21 and 22 were after flashing some boxes after re booting seemed to be stuck on the boot logo. What image are you trying to flash?? Try a different USB pen to flash new image

EE has offered me 50gb per month with speeds up to 60 meg for £25 a month with the first 3months free and they will let me return the 4g router up to 14 days if for what ever reason If don't want it. Am currently with them for my broadband 1.5meg 😂 they will also let me cancel the fixed line BB.

They sent me the router out the other day so hopefully be here today it only has one ethernet port so it will allow me to test the solo2. I will need the other router that Codar has purchased to run a few other gagets in the house.

Hopefull get this tested out today and leave a bit of info later on.

Hi all think my lnb is on the way out. Getting tune failed on both boxes now and again and signal strength/quality going up and down. Was thinking about changing my lnb to Inverto Unicable II Programmable LNB Model number IDLU-32UL40-UNBOO-OPP.

My boxes are Vu solo 2 and Vu solo 4k
I have a fixed dish for 28.2e will this lnb run both boxes with twin tuners or do I need and thing eles sum sort of splitter as there is only one sat cable on the inverto lnb. Or just buy another standard quad lnb??

To sort out your channel numbering turn off alternative numbering. Can't rember what menu it's under. Might be under epg menu or user interface.

Hi I had similar problems with open vix latest image. Download DCC 141 for E2 that fixed everything for me.
