hi all

ive been trying to install oscam arm 11214 and mgcamd arm v7 1.35a on a vu solo 4k on open vix 4 build 3 via a usb pen. the solo 4k picks up the usb pen i then have selected ipk by pressing ok button then green button to install. i get a message saying installed or removed package with 1 error.

is anyone else getting this?

none of the softcams show up in softcam manager

am i doing sum thing stupid????

I'll have a look in there later once I get in from work.

i think from memory u can edit cccam.cfg via ts panel if you have that plugin installed. ts panel plugin does not run very well with vix. not sure what image you ar using

Hi all

Am running Oscam latest vix version download from plugins on a vu solo 2. Oscam seems to freeze every 5min or so for around 10 sec or so. Any ideas how I can fix this?

The box Run fine if I stop Oscam and change to cccam

I just need faster broadband not for a server just for general use downloading streaming etc. Can't cope with slow broadband anymore

Ive been looking again at satellite broadband. I live in Northern Ireland and my broadband speed is poor 0.5meg😂
Is anyone using broadband everywhere this satellite company is offering satellite internet using a sky dish 28.2e any help or advice on this subject would be much appreciated.

i setup a friends vu solo 4k running master g back up of vix 3.2.

am just wondering if i can remove catseye motorised settings from the box and just use ABM as he is using a fixed dish for 28.2e

hi all a friend of mine bought a vu solo 4k.

he ask me to set it up for him a have used master G back up Big Thanks. All working well.

my problem is i have never used oscam before, i converted his N using cccam converter 1.2 saved as oscam.server then i ftp to tuxbox/ect/tuxbox config folder.

sly channels not clearing is there anything i have done wrong???

his N line is working i have checked it on my solo2

am looking to install mgcamd to duo2 running open vix 3.2 build 21

ive been reading about it and now a bit confused lol. what is the best version of mgcamd and were can i find the config files for open vix

You will need to format the USB to flat 32 then mount it on the reliever blue button vix mount manager then green button setup mounts select media USB then green to save the receiver will then need to be restarted.
You sound then be able to store the epg to usb

Hi all

I got the VU zero up and running on open atv and the Franken*** *** skin works fine on open atv.

I set the zero up exactly the same as vix on my solo 2 and solo se the only problem I have, on the epg under last Scaned I seem to have a lot of forigen satellite channels like *** Italy *** austrian etc.

Autobouquets maker is set to *** uk SD n.ireland and I have no other channel list installed any ideas how I can remove the other satellite channels??

Cheers guys I used to use black hole but now prefer vix. I'll prob order the zero and try open atv hopefully vix will support it soon. Will fraken*** skin work on open atv?
