  • Question concernant la mise à jour de sécurité Fransat

    Mes parents regardaient auparavant les chaînes Fransat à l’aide de la carte officielle et d’un module CI+ Fransat d’origine. Un jour, des restrictions d’enregistrement ont été introduites. J’ai donc cherché une solution permettant de contourner ces limitations tout en continuant à utiliser la carte officielle. Les possibilités étaient toutefois limitées, car la carte était utilisée dans un enregistreur Blu-ray Panasonic d’origine. C’est ainsi que je suis tombé sur le module Unicam Evo (révision 4).


    Depuis la dernière mise à jour de sécurité, tout est d’abord devenu noir. Par mesure de sécurité, nous avons ensuite acheté un nouveau module Fransat officiel compatible « 4K ». L’ancien module officiel avait un firmware datant de 2015 et le nom affiché dans le slot CI était « Mini Récepteur ». Je ne sais pas si quelqu’un peut dire si ce module aurait encore fonctionné aujourd’hui.


    Nous avons ensuite inséré le nouveau module CI+ avec la carte. Le nom FRANSAT apparaît désormais dans le menu CI+. Au début, seule la chaîne France 3 était décodée. Après environ une heure d’attente, les autres chaînes se sont soudainement ouvertes elles aussi.


    Nous avons alors remis la carte dans le module Unicam et constaté que France 3 s’ouvre, mais qu’aucune autre chaîne ne fonctionne.

    Qu’en pensez-vous ?


    Existe-t-il encore une possibilité d’utiliser la carte Fransat dans un module Unicam ou dans un autre module alternatif ?


    Encore une question : j’entends souvent parler de « pairing » et de mécanismes similaires. Est-ce réellement le cas ?

    Ma carte PC7 a-t-elle été appairée avec le module CI+ ? Je pose cette question parce que j’aimerais moi-même recevoir les chaînes françaises. Actuellement, je ne capte que Hotbird et Astra, mais j’envisage d’étendre mon installation vers Eurobird. Mon objectif serait alors d’exploiter une telle carte via OSCam.

    Quelles sont, selon vous, les chances que cela fonctionne encore aujourd’hui ?


    Ou serait-il finalement plus judicieux, pour une utilisation avec OSCam, d’opter pour un fournisseur diffusant via Astra ?

    Je suis conscient qu’un Boxkey, et éventuellement d’autres paramètres spécifiques, sont nécessaires.

    Dear community,


    I’m a bit frustrated right now and hope to get some advice from you.


    I’ve been using a DM8000 for many years and a Dreambox Two for about two years now. Both boxes run Newnigma images with OSCam. I use them to watch HD+ and SRG (Swiss) at home with original cards. As already mentioned in the Dreambox Two section, the OLED display on my box is partially defective. That issue made me look around to see what’s currently available on the market—and honestly, I was quite surprised. It seems that there won’t be any new Dreambox models anymore. And when I look at VU+, most shops appear to be out of stock or empty as well. I’m not familiar with other brands.


    So my question to you is: What would you recommend today?

    I’m a big fan of maximum flexibility and quality, so price is not the main concern. Ideally, I’m looking to replace my setup with two new boxes and keep the partially defective Dreambox as a backup device.


    If you ask me what features are important, my wishlist would look like this:

    • Nice front display
    • Maximum number of CI+ and XCrypt slots (or at least external expansion options)
    • Fast performance
    • Multistream tuner support and IPTV Support
    • Bluetooth remote control (preferably with backlighting)
    • Large community, Images, Tools, Plugins and solid long-term support
    • As modern as possible in terms of hardware standards

    Or does it make sense to wait a bit longer—maybe something new is coming soon that everyone is waiting for?

  • Dreambox Two - Defective OLED Display

    Hi everyone


    I own a Dreambox Two and the display is black at the top section. I’ve tried restarting the box and playing around with the settings, but nothing helped. The device has never been opened or modified in any way. I actually only noticed it by chance, but the top ~3–4 mm of the display are simply missing. Since I usually like to glance at the clock, it’s getting quite annoying. And to be honest, I really don’t like half-broken devices. :face with steam from nose:


    Unfortunately, I can’t find any information about this issue, let alone a suitable replacement part.

    Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be done? Any advice would be appreciated!
