Dreambox Two - Defective OLED Display

Hi everyone

I own a Dreambox Two and the display is black at the top section. I’ve tried restarting the box and playing around with the settings, but nothing helped. The device has never been opened or modified in any way. I actually only noticed it by chance, but the top ~3–4 mm of the display are simply missing. Since I usually like to glance at the clock, it’s getting quite annoying. And to be honest, I really don’t like half-broken devices.

Unfortunately, I can’t find any information about this issue, let alone a suitable replacement part.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be done? Any advice would be appreciated!

I had a problem. I wouldn't recommend it to you in order not to destroy my dreambox two. I opened it, took off the complete motherboard and the display, which is connected with a thin strip that goes into the motherboard, and cleaned all the dust with a special spray for cleaning the motherboard and put everything back as it should and it worked. Since my dreambox two was assembled with plexigas. I think that if you're not really an expert in this, it wouldn't have caused even worse damage, it's better to do nothing diras. Try to completely unplug it and then plug it back in, or try another power charger that is suitable for the dreambox two to test.
