I always had patched copies of windows because the price was too high to buy,but at £29.99 it was a steal and its owned,no more checking patches from microsoft that would display this copy is not genuine.

Hi gave up trying all methods black hole is the only image I have had problems getting internal hdd to mount not worth the hassle just try another image alliancehd is good.I had trouble with dream elite 3 random cogs spinning for no reason kept having to reboot dreambox.Good Luck

Did all that got the initializing failed did some research and black hole can be very troublesome with some internal hdd could not format tried the script change method, then gave up too much hassle. Thanks anyway.There seems to be less clone images been produced these days.My favourite image nemesis 2.6 has not been updated in ages ,dream elite 3 kept giving moving cogs after a short time which would only stop after unplugging.Now using alliancehd seems a good image no probs yet.

I gave up trying to mount internal hdd,cant someone fix instead of editing lines this is the only image that as caused problems with mounting.

Thanks for replies guys i think it is the case that owners move on to new boxes and develop images for the newer models because they are plugged in and readily available.Wish i could patch images but my knowledge is limited .I watch these pages daily and last clone image was 25th april for dm800.The best image to date i have found to be dream elite 3.0 not perfect but close.requirements are perfect working crossepg,picons,media playback and hdd mounting.

Hi i have noticed that there are fewer dm800 releases recently why i wonder.There are lots of sunray,dm800 se releases but seems a trend towards leaving out dm800..Still waiting for dream elite 4.0 no news though.

nemesis 2.4 for me dont like merlin ,other images ok some green screen images when not tested properly before release.Waiting for dream elite 4.0 seems a very good image.I used to like gemini but not found a recent ssl84 release.

Hi try to set recording path on DreamOEM.GP3-dm800se-20120319-SR4.Sim2.84b.riyad66 get green crash every time so unable to record using internal hdd.So be advised if you have internal hdd this image is not working.

Hi found everything working except ramimaher vti cam center great up to now,some reports that internal hdd not been found needs initialising to fix.great image cannot understand why some still stick with dream elite pheonix edition ssl 82.Tried them all this is by far the best to date for me.

Hi just tried BlackHole-1-6-6-dm800hd-ramiMAHER-v3 final #ssl84a,this is superb image everything works you may have to reformat hdd.I have tried loads of images in the past and for me this is the best i have ever tried.Will only update now if new ssl comes out but will not be looking for another image to use.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new image.

Hi yes crossepg folder was there deleted ext.epg.dat downloaded epg info from rytec provider data saves but not loading data into image.Shame as this is a great image.Thanks for advise will wait till a backup with working epg is available.There are some great ssl 84 images made available but seems no one image is yet perfect ie crossepg.picons work without problems sure it will all be fixed eventually.Thanks again.

Thanks for reply but that was black hole this is gp3.I have setup crossepg loads of times on images it is this image with internal hdd that is not saving the xepgdp cache.But many thanks anyway.

Hi is barry allan still the only one able to backup ssl84,i dont like to use barry allan as it is not possible to fully uninstall after use it leaves traces on hard disk.I look forward to a simple backup prog that doesnt save ssl84 image as ssl 82.
