    Just tried scanning that freq in found 23 channels from above post. I get service not found SID not found in PAT


    Should I be getting a picture now on box office HD1?

    hi guys - sorry to kind of jump on fat lads thread. i have added the fight to my card and can see it has got this by new entitlements have been written. but when trying s.b.o HD 1 no picture and (nok) comes up on server.


    i have loaded the ipk file from master g's post on my duo but still nothing clearing.


    do you think i have the wrong channel details, as phoenix mentioned KOS has not put up the changes yet?


    any help appreciated as always peeps

  • how to setup mount points from vu duo to my solo boxes all running Vix images

    i have a duo with internal hard drive, and i would like to mount this to my other solo boxes. i used to be able to do this when all were running black hole. i have now Vix on all my boxes, and i have mounted my nasdrive via CIFS and that is working a treat. but what do i need to do, to mount my duo's internal hard drive to my solo?


    if somebody could post exact mount settings i need, that would be amazing

    i have the same box, for canal+ or digital, from spain, eg on 19.2east.


    i hate the box, its so slow, be good if i could also get the details. loads of people say need to JTAG it, and have to send box etc to somebody you never heard of etc. I have always come to a dead end.


    if you ever find out how its done, please let me know

    Hi andyray, yes I did update my IP address via the website before trying, but did not work.


    Will try from another location tomorrow, but think I will pay for VPN for 12months just for backup :-)

    Just tried logging in on my Mac mini, which is hooked up to my 60inch. Just watching Andy Murray & quality is very watchable. I have 20mb.


    Smart dns is working also, must of been the wifi I was connected. Both corporate and premier inn could only stream via a VPN. As I work away a lot, I could create a list of what works and what doesn't. Eg maccy d's , star bucks etc

    Hi guys.


    Just to let you know I have tried everything and still cannot just use smart dns.


    I have just tried the iPad and iPhone app for Al Jazeera, it allows me to login but not access live streams.


    VPN works fine. I will try this again when I get home on my wifi, as I am using premier inn's wifi as working away.


    PS love their app though :-)

    I will have to wait to try the smartdns, but when I used the VPN from Egypt this morning, streaming was perfect, no buffering, so have everything crossed, and will report back when connect to big screen. I am also going to try their app. I have found when trying to change countries in the AppStore, you need to have a zero balance.......which kind if sucks as I am buying crap I don't want or need so can get to zero. Once got the the JSC app, will let you know how quality is.

    i have just signed up for the season pass, but overplay global vpn for 1month. i can only get to watch the streams when vpn is connected, just using smartdns did not seem to show the streams. have you been able to use just smartdns?


    but looks like total cost would be around £160, which i was paying for my full jsc card before, i think this is awesome value. i guess time will tell when it comes 3pm on 17th august, every man and his dog trying to connect through overplay vpn lol


    once i left the stream running for 20seconds the picture got better, am running on a 13inch laptop at present, so cannot comment about hooking up to a tv yet.

    Hi deerhunter, I am wanting to sign up to give this a try. Might be worth a tutorial, like somebody did for the AD sports. Did you sign up to overplay smart dns first, which area of DNS did you use? Middle East? Then can you just go to Al Jazeera website and pay for their streaming service? Did you pay via your visa / MasterCard credit card or PayPal?


    Really keen on signing up and trying this
