i have an amiko alien shd 8900 with spark i have a jsc sport sub does anyone know how to get this installed and working on superiptv i have trawled the net but nothing so far

There are a few test out there for the Spark SuperIPTV. The IPTV boxes are small tho 521bee6.jpg
if anybody knows of these providers that i can just pay and sign up to use with existing alien box with superIPTV then please could you let me know. as just googling spark superiptv comes back with a lot of things that i dont just want to throw my money at.

It would be good to maybe get some tuts on good providers, where we can use our enigma2 boxes with some plugins.
I am abit lost when it comes to IPTV, I don't fancy telling the mrs I need to buy another box to watch the footie, and try and jam it in the cabinet lol
my card has just ran out, if i re-new it for 12months, wonder if i will be able to get the new channels, or do you think it will be like Tring did, and if you bought a card for 12months in march 2013, you would not get the new season starting august 2013, you would have to pay again. i can't see them offering a year sub for just under 150 for all channels, it would be the greatest value for money card ever!
The fan is very small & I cannot hear anything.
I would say its too small and doesn't get rid of the heat that the tuner produces :-(. Apart from that its a great little box
have you checked the temperature and fan settings as i suggested earlier ??.
yes i did - it does not give details of temperature. under, setup, system, fan control. the only option is to change fan from auto, on, off thats it.
also another strange thing going on now, earlier i could get sly sports hd etc and other channels, but saying tune failed now, i can get bbc hd, and it locks up when i select jsc sport hd - again it is really hot.
i know the above sound like channel listings etc, but all is ok, as i am using same settings on my duo, swap cables over to the duo and all is working ok

it just locked up again, when it was moving dish round to 13east........... switched to jsc sport 1 all fine, when change to jsc sport hd1, box locks up and reboots. how is that for weird eh?
looks like this box is not ready to replace my duo just yet. i love the speed advantage but i would much rather wait a little longer and know that it will work all the time.
maybe i do have a faulty unit?
I was looking at possibly buying one of the boxes, i may wait and see with the HD1 to see if anybody else complains about it.
The HD3 looks like a cracking box Stevejo, i'm a little envious of it to say the least :dribble:

as for performance - i am really impressed with the box, it is the second 1 i have had the pleasure in messing with. i cant remember the first box being this hot though.

Have you tried plugging the other cable thats in Tuner B into tuner A just to see if you get a picture?
As long as the motor is left on 28e tuner A won't take any notice of the motor just the signal coming in. It may be possible that the fault is with the static 28e feed. This will at least rule out the satellite feed.

well strange things have happened. its back working, but my worry is the heat, nothing is above it, so it has good ventilation. i think it must have a cut off temp (although not that i can see in the image) - it has been back working all afternoon, but it has locked up once and rebooted on its on, it is still rather hot.
it reminds me of how hot my onkyo gets and when i first had this receiver, it just gets really hot and thats normal.

check your Fan settings in Menu> setup> system> temperature and fan control
i tried turning the fan on, as thats the only setting you get. eg on or off. also to note the fan is located just behind the hard drive, and could be better up nearer the tuners, as i think the fan isn't much cop.
howdy guys
i have been running this box for a week or so, both tuners are live, 1 at 28.2 and other tuner on motor.
i have the latest vix image and metro skin. over the last few days the box is getting extremely hot and now i cannot get a picture on Tuner A, Tuner B via motorised is working fine. i have reflashed this morning and still the same. think might have a faulty tuner?
what do you guys think?
have you restarted cccam on your azbox?
not that it should make a difference but, on my config i use in my server i use n: 127.0.0.1 instead of ip address, might be worth a try
in your cccam.cfg on the server add a f line eg f: azbox home
then add a cline in you cccam.cfg in your azbox cccam.cfg eg c: 192.168.0.9 portnumber azbox home
howdy, looks like you are getting there, its a great feeling when you get it working. just thought i would let you know, that i too have the same card, and the only issue i have is that when your year sub runs out this config does not activate the renewal. the only way i could get it to re-activate was oscam with mgcamd in my duo. i am not sure if there is a way you can do this in the current setup but just thought i would spread the info i have gathered.
How about actually letting people in the UK watch these games legally it works for the bundesliga in Germany and it does not affect attendances I for one would be happy to pay for the coverage.
i totally agree with this statement. look at NFL in america, this is the way i would like to see it going. you can buy a home season pass for your team or home & away pass, or you can pay to watch all games and get streams alll in HD. the premier league would then get even more revenue than they do now.
I read sometime ago, that the reason they do not televise the 3pm matches in the uk is it would stop people from going to the matches. I find that hard to believe, no matter how you watch the matches, eg HD, 3D you can never recreate being at the match. they really need to give the people what they want. we want to watch what "we" want to watch, and when we want to watch it.
You can tell if you have a clone box , as there will be a sticker on the back or underneath, the sticker will be V2.0 or V3.0, you may also have a sticker on front top left directing thou to a website for software, also they are slow to boot, and remote is not as good as original.
I agree that the solo is now over rated, I'd recommend a unibox hd1 plus (from our sponsor), for the same money you get 2 x sat tuners, and a lot faster box, you won't have blackhole image though, but openvix has now become my favourite image over blackhole.
Plus clones are bad for the good people who make the originals. Think of it like this, most people have bought a fake watch, it lasts until you get home from your holiday and then it stops, and you throw it away.

Your are unlucky enough to join the party a bit late. Nano is right there's not really anything you can do. People that can still take their cards out and leave in server etc will not put their cards back in receivers and update them via oscam/cccam.... Whoops sorry late response, my bad...

hi again. i am struggling again but i want to check if im doing this correct.....
i am using mgcamd 1.38 on my duo and i want to connect to my csp to get both profiles. do i enter CWS_MULTIPLE = ipaddressofcsp 15112 my duo 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in my newcamd.list port 15112 is the extended-newcamd port in the csp config
i have done the above and restarted my mgcamd in my duo but still black screen, and i do not see my user connecting, or even trying to connect in the csp sessions screen.
any ideas guys?

I have been playing again hehe - i have managed to get my 3 household boxes connected and when all on same channel i get C from 2 users happy days. yes here is the but coming...... i have added another profile but i cannot figure out how i can add 1 user to see all profiles. under the user section i have not put any profile against the user, so this should allow all profiles? in 1 of my receivers i used a n line but the port number used was the port from the profile, i imagine this is why i cannot connect to my other profile, i have tried the port near the top of the config page and 8082 but nothing seems to connect? i guess i could add 2 n lines with port number for each profile but dont think thats very clean and a bit of pain to manage.
