Booooo to you using a online service, this will be the death of this hobby. At a guess you are only allowed to watch 1 channel from the server, that's why your picture is blank. I bet if you recorded a $$$ channel and then turned over, to let's say bbc 1 or another FTA channel you won't get a black screen.

i am unlucky enough to have B* broadband but on the flip side can have B* sport added for free to my S** sub. If i were to give them the card number thats in my server, would this card update with the added channels when they go live without me putting card back into receiver?

i have also been informed that it can mess up your mount points. but i have had 7.1 running lovely on vu duo, vu solo & unibox hd1 plus - maybe i have been lucky?

the duo and solo have been on constantly and the mrs has not complained so thats always a good test for me lol

This is a strange one.......but now reading this I have also seen the exact same thing, I thought it was just me lol

I would say it had started to happen last few weeks of the season. The last advert just before kick off, the screen would go blank, then just when you think oh crap, it comes back as they blow the whistle and doesn't happen for the rest of the programme, very odd.

Our's is off a **y Ireland sub, so got it in oscam with box key & cccam. Fingers crossed it will still be ok for next season.

Has anybody been able to see why this is not clearing, but are reading and updating?

hi there, sorry i do not know if this is possible, but maybe a work around.....of sorts.

you could leave 1 c line with cccam to connect to 1 server and then setup the other cline (you will need to convert this) but could use another cam eg mgcamd or oscam to then access the server, so you could switch between the 2

have you tried ftp'ing to your receiver via filezilla or another ftp program, once connected, navigate to location of hard drive mount e.g. /hdd/ then here you will see a few folders and should see movie and maybe you could try right clicking on the files and selecting delete?

also i was trying to achieve an upto date image with certain plugins and then perform a full backup and upload to hopefully give back something that i have learned from here over the last few years.

so here is what i got and what did work.... I have tring in the top slot (chip facing down) & in the bottom slot jsc (chip facing down)
I have had these working and updating in a very old blackhole version 1.5.1 which had oscam 6034 & mgcamd 1.38. so my next step was to update my image to blackhole 2.0.3 or openvix 3.0.688 & either does not now clear the picture.... i copied files from these locations on my working box before upgrading.

i must admit i have tried several oscam&mgcamd combinations from tspanel - linuxsat add ons, but currently i have got running oscam7505 & mgcamd 1.38. when logging into oscam it all looks like it is fine and reading the card but no picture. (please see screenshot)

in the last hour i have been able to download from the plugin menu, feeds must be back online

i have had the eaxact same problem on the latest openvix image when loading it on my duo from scratch. i fixed this by loading latest catseye 01-06-13 settings into dream box edit program (first time i ever had to do this), once loaded into dreambox edit, uploaded to duo and once done a full restart e.g. power it off and on again. all was back working :-)

Sorry i dont use smargo readers in my ubuntu server, have only got omnikey readers. I am away from home today. So will post configs when i return.

Hi, been reading this and thought I would try and help,.....

When you got the card from your supplier did he tell you that it had already been activated, eg put into a *** Italia box? If so then you should of been able to configure it so it would work, until it required updating, which I only have ever been able to do it in a *** Italia box. I have had pre-paid cards with HD subscription and updates fine a SD box.

I have had it running in a Ubuntu with omnikeys, would it help for me to post my configs?

sorry for late reply, was scared to take the plunge.....but i have done it... went for latest blackhole from the blackhole download images here - 2.0.3, installed your ipk above & ftp'd your configs across, put my tring card in top slot, chip facing down. on tring sport 1 (and all other channels) don't display a picture, just sound only. i know card is ok, because when put back in card reader in ubuntu server it clears fine. any ideas master G??
