have deleted frequencies for tring all of them and done blind scan absolutely fe*k all :(((((

channels coming in fine here on my spiderbox the is how:MENU= MANUAL SCAN = PRESS GREEN BUTTON TO ADD NEW TP = ADD 11345 H 27500 = START SEARCH = SAVE CHANNELS FOUND.

I tried this and i know how to get into menu ie inputting channels have done many times lol but still nothing, as i say after doing all this it does show signal strength and quality but finds 0 channels , dont know what to try next ?

maybe reason im not gettit is a spiderbox thing strange dont you think how you all can get that and i cant :(

I tried this software with trying to find fif*12 that i had downloaded from cyd*a and found software but it will not open for some reason, maybe not that user friendly lol

Its a new transponder so you need to enter the details & scan it manually mate.

I did exactly that entered it manually and its not coming up, it shows signal strength and quality but when it goes to tune comes up with (0) channels, so am also trying a Blind Scan function ??

There is a file in the root directory of your C: drive called MSDOS.SYS.
This is a read-only, system file. You will have to change the attributes of
this file to edit it. But first, just look at it. Look for a line in the
file that says SAFE MODE=1. If you see this line either erase it, or change
the 1 to a 0 and save the file. Reset the attributes of the file, shutdown
and turn off computer. Turn the computer back on and see if it starts up

My Cousin`s laptop is only about 2 years old if that and it wont come out of safe mode so she cant open photos music files wont go online etc cant do anything .
I have done a restart and pressed F* and tried start windows normally nothing still came back in safe then did same again and tried try to fix itself and after putting in password for lappy it looked for a while and found nothing ??
Then i tried a system restore and which came back successful and still only in safe please advise as i have it here with me and am looking for some good advice ??

I have turned off ucas keys for what they open not really worth it, I wonder if anyone else who have spiderbox like me and uses old pc as server for peers and i have my cline in stb does the ethernet (gift) affect you opening channels that you already have as local shares ? ie like conto tv and digitalb ??

If your recieving from crystal palace then you will pay LONDON prices ! which i think is more than rest of the country :bad_smelly: !
So here on the south coast an Aerial installed on a pole on the chimney starts @ £130 through to £180 if outdoor mast head amps are required !
Then add between £40-£60 per additonal point !
So i guestimate @ worst = New aerial with amp/filter = £180 to main tv + 3 additional points @£60 could be as much as a total of £360 !
i would get a couple of estimates and see what you can bargain them down too !
Remeber that if your new stuff lasts 40 years then that estimate i gave you would work out at £9 per year of service ! which is less than 25pence a week !
They should install your stuff safely too ! remeber Rod Hull ?Good luck mate ! let us know what happens wont you !

not got aerial fitted yet but dtv found new channels so let telly find them and noticed as tv watching tuning in channels signal strength at 10 out of 10 then down to 5/10 then last channels found as low as 3/10

cheers for that mate,iv seen a few on donedeal in around 350 euros,bit pricey considering 4s out,was kinda hopn to find sum1 upgrading der contract to 4s lookn to make a few bob for the old 1..ill hold out

Mine is To! I think they have cut everyone off with a Certain Model No Box Key. So Its a matter of time to cut off the next load of boxes. The Spiderbox team seem to have shot themselfs in the Foot to cut the boxes off just before Xmas. It means all the people who were going to buy the box will think again.. Or they think all the people who have had the gift stopped will run out and pay £200 for another box. Do the Spider Team realise there is a Recession On.

I seem to remember in the early days of the spider there was an issue running a Cline with ucas enabled(Advice back then was not to run gift,keys and line together) but i believe further patches resolved this issue.Might be an idea to disable keys and see if you get missing channels back.Hi,
Yeah i remeber all that i been through all that but had a little tinker about turned keys off then back on and all seems ok ...
