yes,
octagon server with ncam 11.0 and share with dm900 with ncam 11.0 too.
Hi,
I have 2 decoder: dm900 and octagon. Dm900 is connected to octagon with cs378x protocol to share in my home a regular subscription. Problem is that sometimes i have disconnection of my dm900 with this log: "[cs378x] disconnected: reason disconnect" with -> timeout.
I use ncam 11.0 with fairbird configuration:
ncam.conf

I have try to add in ncam.server reconnecttimeout = 0, reconnecttimeout = 30, reconnecttimeout = 1800 without any result...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance...
I have tested old NCam for curiosity. Up to NCam 8.1 is all ok (from on to active). After this version au not change in active mode.
Hi,
I have tried an old version of NCam "NCam_1.9-r1" official (so I think also with corresponding NCam compiled and patched by READ) and all work perfectly (from ON to ACTIVE) without any problem. It is a problem born with following NCam version.
Hi,
I have 2 decoders. First decoder (living room) has card (server) and the second (client) is in my bedroom. Last decoder (client) not send emm to first decoder to update card. AU is on but it is not going to ACTIVE modes.
Which is parameter that lets to go in active mode?

i cannot update card of my client or is my client that cannot update my card?
Hi,
in a lot of new configuration i found these parameters in oscam.server for cards configuration. Are they important or can we do without them? Which are correct values? Do they allow to not make freeze card?

srvidholdtime =

Thanks for explanation.
Thanks for reply...
if i put in ncam.conf

it's not necessary put this string in each [reader] of ncam.server...

Is that so?
Hi,
which are all caids that need of this parameter? All nds caids? Caid 0931?
Thanks for explanation...
Hi,
I have a question about pmt_mode in NCam configuration:
i use ncam and openATV. How should parameter pmt_mode (in ncam.conf -> [dvbapi]) be set? 0 or 6? Which is the correct value?
In most configuration is setted to 0 but some people recommended to use especially in openATV 6 as value.
What should i put?
Thanks.
If you want autoupdate just you do a search...
Put in....

I haven't sky DE but new configurations that have been posted try to solve this problem:
ncam.conf

disablecrccws_only_for = 0500:50F000;09C4:000000;098C:000000;098D:000000

If your VU+ Zero has an ARM processor you have not to use MIPS version but this version:
"Ignored ECM by filters" also appear changing channels because ncam looks for valid ecm first in emu and constcw (with the result of: key not found) and then in my local card. Is it normal? Do I have to make some changes in the configuration?

Hi,
I have a question:
there is a method (parameter) in Ncam to avoid "Ignored ECM by filters" for a user (local card config have not freezes)? Is it possible?
EDIT: ...or is a user's config problem?
Someone disables AFN reader to let cam to start. However I notice that emu (softcam key) is disabled if i block AFN reader. Is it correct?
Now problems seem to be solved. Rai sometimes has these kinds of problems...thanks anyway...
Since this morning i have a problem with Nagra Tivùsat with Ncam but only Rai channels...Is it their problem or my problem? With my card Rai channels are black while other channels of this card can be cleared. :/
Hi,
NCam 6.2 works with PW but if i restart decoder cam not start and i have great difficulty to start it (-->no cam for many and many times..). If i remove in ncam.server [reader] below cam start immediately!
