    so I give them a fline say f: mydydns 1200 abc 123 then they use that as there cline and they send me there fline which I enter as a cline in cccam.cfg?

    No, your fline stays in your cfg file and goes to no one else. For example

    F: USERNAME PASSWORD 2 0 0 { 0:0:2 }
    C: (Their cline goes here, that they provided you)

    You change the USERNAME and PASSWORD to anything you like, if for example i pm you. You could change the USERNAME to Daf (my name) and a random password.

    Once you have the fline done, and have signed up for dyndns your cline will be made up of all these. E.g

    C: jimc.dyndns.org 12000 USERNAME PASSWORD no { 0:0:2 }

    As i say if you read the thread again that ten posted just to get used to the other strings on the end.

    sorry to be thick is the user and pass the one used for the dreambox or dydns please

    If you mean the F line USERNAME and PASSWORD then you make this up yourself, they need to be unique to the user your exchanging your cline with.

    The username and password in the F line are the ones you add to your cline you provide to that particular user. To add a new user just add a new F line with a new username and password.

    Do I have to have a package to share?

    Nope, i didn't anyway although it does help. I just posted that i have a cline in the free exchange section and people started to pm me their clines. In return i added a new fline to my cfg with a unique username and password for them and sent them a cline. The more clines the more packages you and your server has (i think).

    Anyway i may be wrong but you don't have to have any packages.

    If this helps, this is whats currently in my ccam cfg file:

    My f and c lines are just added at the bottom, the cline i add below the f is their cline they gave me.
    The fline makes up the clines i provide to others.
    From the above fline in my cfg, this would be the cline i give to my clients:

    Code
    C: daf.dyndns.org 12000 USERNAME PASSWORD no { 0:0:2 }

    To understand the last strings (no and all those numbers) read the thread ten posted above.

    Big thanks to master G as i would not have known any of this if it wasn't for him, anyway i hope this helped

    Thanks for that, it says 16E only needs 70cm but the sat he mentions has been lost in space (Eutelsat's W3B satellite lost hours after launch - Major setback for telecommunications satellite firm | TechEye) lol. So im guessing the 80cm will be the best for me.

    The second link there i've just read, i've paid my guy for 3 months now and it only cost me like ?22. Im guessing he'll be cutting me off once he gets more buyers?

    I can se that you promote exchanging on this forum, but i don't really have anything to exchange with people. So i guess the only option i have is to pay people for their lines and im assuming the higher priced would be better for me to go for?

    Anyway thanks for that reply, ill install an 80cm this week, would it just replace my old sky dish and point in the same direction?

    Im a newb to all this, as you could probably tell.

    Thanks

    Basically i want to watch the football, preferably the 3pm kick offs in the UK. I've heard of Tring and Canal and how they both show almost all the BPL games. Just wondering what size dish i would need as all i have at the moment is the standard sky dish picking up 28.2E.

    Tring is on 16E so i was wondering what dish size i would need to pick this up, im in the UK (South Wales) if that makes the difference. Or if there are any other providers i can pick up for a tring alternative that would be better or you prefer?

    It won't be in a pub or anything just in my house for me to watch now and again, i won't be watching them every saturday but now and again so i don't want to spend much. I have the subscription covered off my current supplier of Sky UK, he also offers Tring and things so thats covered.

    Thanks

    It got to Bristol about 2 days later xmas eve at 6:30am but it stayed there untill the 30th due to bad weather and xmas break. Its worth the wait good luck.

    It cost me ?10 quid havent paid it yet mind.

    Mine was marked as repaired tunners.

    Thanks for that mate, hopefully i may get it by the end of the week if im lucky. Top man!

    Finally got my tracking number for my dm800 yesterday 2 weeks after purchasing. Im currently tracking it and its just Departed Facility in HONG KONG - HONG KONG.

    When you guys got your tracking and it began leaving hong kong, you dont happen to know how long it took do you? It's getting delivered to Llanelli south wales, i see dai is an ospreys fan so im guessing you live close to me. Just wondering if i should be expecting it anytime soon as it doesn't give an ETA on DHL.

    I just hope i dont get charge silly fees for importing.

    Thanks lads
