thanks for reply but does not seem to work, does it matter which cam i use. have tried cccam 2.14 and cccam 2.14/newcs 1.67.

if i replace the n line with a c line works fine, so assume the remainder of my box is configures ok.

a friend has sent me a N line to test. do i just put the line in the cccam config folder just as i would a C line?

I have had a bit of experience with the ariva range which i found to be excellent receivers apart from not working well on cccam, althought excellent with ncamd.
I would hope that the new linux model would overcome this problem as u can then put your own cccam/oscam cams on.
at the moment not able to find much info.

there is a new model ferguson available. called the link 100.
this receiver is linux.

i have tried adding biss key Biss key AA AA BB OF BB CC CC 53 AA AA BB OF BB CC CC 53 into the constant cw. file but it seems to be too long, the 53 is missing of the end of the line.

I haave tried entering pids using dreambox edit (but the pids were correct anyway)

i used to receive them ok up until about last xmas. then encrypted in biss. did not bother at the time as was able to receive from astra 1n.
but with the potential change to 1F later in the year i thought it would be worth looking at opening the biss. however saw the post on KOS today saying now FTA.
but cannot get them to open

is anyone able to receive these channels at the moment??
according to KOS channels are FTA. I cannot open channels with vu+ uno. just wondering is anyone working.

the big plus for the F3, particually if you live in a fringe area is the tuner, which has much better gain that the S9,10,11

yes unfortunately you lose the catergory names doing it this way, but once you rename them and them dump back to your usb, from then on the catergories will keep the names

cccam works very well on the F3 and is very very easy to set up

the cccam option is there with all images. you just have to enter pin code to bring up additional menu icon. usually 6666

you are correct that there is no wifi with this soft. i just loaded the image then dumbed the channel list back to the usb. then installed image with wifi, then uploaded channel list again

u would have 4 cables going from ur lnb to the distribution unit (not just a simple splitter)
