can confirm that i have used both the vonets and the tenda (both advertised on eb*y and the sponsor) and they work no problem

Hi, been searching for oscam/cccam ipk file (for sly uk) for the dm 500. can anyone point me in the right direction?

am i correct in assuming a oscam/cccam ipk file for enigma 2 will not work in dm 500

agree with what u say, what a pity about the usb socket on the front particulary when using with the included wifi dongle when u cant shut the flap

just thought i would answer this myself as it may be of interest to others.
i bought a ***box F3 to test and can say that the tuner gain is very good, far better than the previous openboxes i have tried.

this is a very good channel list but dont seem able to get the wifi manager menu.
have pressed the 3313 menu pin which opens the menu for cccam etc. but no sign of the wifi.
when in the network menu press 6666 but nothing.
any ideas?

I would install black hole personally if you going to install new image

you dont need a program to install the ipk file.
simply ftp the ipk file to the tmp folder using DCC or similar FTP program.
press the green button followed by the yellow button.
highlight Manual install BH packages (u should then see the ipk file) install it.
reboot
press the blue button and highlight the existing cam (probably common interface) press the left or right arrow to change cams, until you see the oscam/ccam you have just installed. then press select
and the new cam will start.

ok, what i would do is go to the ts panel again.
-addons
-linuxsat support addons
download the appropriate cccam/oscam config for your image (i use Black hole). and for the card u are using s*y
-install

then press the blue button and select the cam you have just installed and then click on the cam and it will restart.

i usually then select pick tv to see if oscam is working.

I think for the HD and premium channels u need to enter the boxkey in the config. file. when using just cccam. if u use oscam to read the card not necessary

these are two new models for ***box. i understand that the M3 has a high gain sharp tuner fitted. just wondering if the F3 also has similar sharp tuner fitted.
always found the tuner gain on other model ***boxes poor.

using a skart lead will not prevent HD channels clearing.

the F3 does not have a cam slot. i personally prefer either the s9 or s11 both have cam slots

if u are using the ccam/oscam autoinstall be alamski, the necessary drivers for omnikey are within the script. when i installed i did not have to do anything other than edit oscam files

I found i got better ecm times using omnikey reader. much cheaper than a smargo aswell
