Hi, just a general question about the DM 500 C.

can i put the same image as for the DM500 S ( I would assume not, but not sure, if not can anyone point me to images for DM 500 C.) I not in the UK so nothing to do with virgin cable or anything like that.

can i use the ts panel for download of cams?

just an update on this issue which may be of help to somebody else.
I updated the FPGA and there was a slight improvement but still not good enough, so ordered a 20db variable attenuator and the results where improved immeadiately
with the uno giving as good results as the dm800 and solo. so the advice from Phoenix was spot on. thanks

£25 to activate the card? thats a new one. i have activated cards from here in spain with a telefone call and l and never had to pay anything to activate the card

or just install older version and update from the panel

yes the tuner is Vuplus DVB-S NIM (DVB S2). all seems well connected.
It has also been suggested that I do the FPGA update. what is this and would it affect the tuner performance?

just an update on this: I did as phoenix suggested (attenuating the signal) this resulted in loss of the affected signals earlier.
the interesting point is today i tried VU solo and the performance was excellent. even better than the dm 800.

just wondering what other peeps views are of the uno tuner unit.
I have just bought a vu uno to replace my dm800. generally speaking i think the receiver is very good. however a bit dissapointed about the tuner.
living in a fringe area the tuner gain is important and i found this evening with a bit of bad weather around i was loosing some of the weaker channels.
i changed back to me dm 800 and the channels i was loosing on my VU continued to work fine on the DM 800. so in conclusion it appears the DM tuner is better than the VU uno

thanks for reply. I appears the prob is something to do with the wireless card. I connect direct to the router using cable and all is ok.

having problems with downloading files.
downloading ok but very slow. just downloaded latest VU file (50meg) which took 25 mins. then downloaded from another pc from the same internet connection took 2 mins.
so problem with my pc.
any ideas, i have done virus check etc.

I have tried it this afternoon both in my original sly box and also if i put the card in either my dm800 or vu uno then the F1 channel is working.

I am using ubuntu server to share around my house.
the Formula 1 channel will not open on dm 800/vu uno/openbox when connected to server (all other hd channels that i sub to ok).
however if i put the card directly into the receiver then F1 channels work ok.
I have updated the oscam file to the latest but still no go.
any ideas please ??

just installed black hole 1.7.3 on my Uno and display does not show ecm times. just says ecm time nan.
all other info is there : address port hops etc.
any ideas?

can i use the dreambox tools ie: dcc to add cccam files, and dreambox edit for channel lists. on the uno

I have not actually bought one yet, but a company that i buy from on a regular basis have a offer for € 179 (first 50 sold) which i understand is cheap. they claim they are genuine, but i am unsure because of the price and just wanted to ask advice first.
