not sure whether is 32 or 64 but i think it is 32 looking at the original install script i followed from Alamski as it says not for 64bit

ubuntu 10.10 update oscam file.

i wish to update the oscam file and not sure which file to use as there seem quite a few to choose from.

the pc has ubuntu 10.10
and the present oscam file is oscam 1.20 unstable svn build #6290

anybody advise which file to use please.

thanks for replies, but i updated to latest oscam but still the same results. any more ideas anyone?

there are no more. if i press the update or refresh button the log remains the same. only changes if i reboot.

server has been working away virtually untouched for about the last 18 months. suddenly yeaterday the card stopped working.
the server is still reading the card and showing upto date entitilments. (have tried the card in receiver ok)

not sure what the problem is, so if someone could advise from my log please.

thanks for that inspiral. now working ok

i had a problem with dm 800se. no CA. i followed steps to restore the box ok. but i how have a problem where the box will not boot altought the no CA message has gone.
i noticed whilst restoring the box a message appeared saying wrong architecture.
anyone help here as to why wont boot, is it to do with this message about the architecture.
i have tried several images and they all start to boot but then stop. i can flash a new image ok from the browser now.

the box is dm 800se clone. sim2.10 sll 84b

yes tried it on different tv. and other receiver into the tv hdmi socket

anyone else had this problem. worked ok for 18 months then following power cut no hdmi output. everything else working fine.
have tried new software; factory reset etc. and have following instruction on other closed link on the site.

dont think thats the problem, as the lock up happens from cold, even if not been booted up for 24 hours

problem with dm 800se( clone), the box continually lock up and i have to reboot. sometimes lock whilst scanning for channels, sometimes whilst changing channels. will not work for more than 5 mins without locking up.
have tried numerous images.
any help please.

can anyone reccomend a good working image for 800se sim 2.01.
have tried a couple but not too good

use the dreambox control centre. just hit the search button and it will find and name all devices on your network

yes i my crossepg also stopped working a couple of days ago. i assumed this was due to the fact that *** have been moving a lot of the channels around over the last week. and living in a fringe area i assumed i was not able to received the download frequency very well. i have difficulty receiving the *** box default frequency of 11.778.
what frequency is used by crossepg for *** channels download?

well today i updated to the latest BH then updated fpga again. installed the latest version of catseye channel list.
and hey presto still no skky news hd or skky 3d.
swop the receiver for a cheap and cheerful ariva 102 and works fine.
any ideas

yes getting all other stuff ok and if i connect sly hd box up instead of the vu then sly hd news and 3d are good signal.
going to try later image today (i still have BH 1.7.2.) and then update fpga again.

I cannot receive a signal from ***3D and ***news HD.
when i select the channel it show 0 signal.
i have the latest catseye channels list and have also tried manual scan of the transponder using parameters from lyngsat.
anyone had this problem or any ideas.

when doing the fpga upgrade there is a list of folders. which folder should i select (vu uno)
