    All,

    Not sure if Im explaining this properly.
    I have 5 sharers and 2 are showing hop1 hop 2 and hop3
    The other 3 are showing 1 of 1 cards.
    One of these guys says he only sees my local card and no reshares.

    I looked each in oscam. server and they all look the same.

    What would cause no reshares from one person and not from the other.

    Its also impacting what reshares others get from me.

    Not too experienced in OSCAM so any help would be appreciated.

    Im using OSCAM and all seems to be going OK except for one Share.

    Its a hop1 Pols@t / NC+ and was working OK except now its just showing BAD SIDS in OSCAM.

    It originally was fine with good sids and worked really well on the right channels then stopped.

    I will be blocking the user but just wonder what could be causing the BAD SIDS.

    Card shows up fine.

    Could it be something I need to set at my end ?

    Or is there some way I can check whats going on. The sharer was very solid and reliable and check that all is ok at his end.

    Anyone ?

    Thanks

    UPDATE -
    One of my clines reports that he sees my card but reshare is zero.
    Ive set

    [account]
    user = xxxxx
    description = xxxxx
    au = xxxxx
    group = 1
    cccreshare = 1

    [reader]
    label = redlight
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci1
    caid = 0500
    detect = cd
    mhz = 450
    cardmhz = 2700
    ident = 0500:xxxxxx
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2,0
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-u = 1
    saveemm-s = 1
    cccreshare = 1

    [cccam]
    port = xxxxx
    nodeid = xxxxxxxx
    version = 2.1.3
    reshare = 1

    anyone spot what I have wrong ?????
    Card is fine as local....

    I think there is an issue.
    There are 0500:xxxx entries but I think they are a reshare.

    Is the local box using oscam or cccam or both to read the card ?

    Thing is that reshares are fine but getting cccam to share my oscam card isn't working....

    What does oscam need to know about the card to share it with cccam connections.

    Lads a question.

    I have OSCAM setup to share my redlight card.
    It works fine as a local card and shows up in my other box as a hop 1 share (fff8f0,43800) but I don't have the satellite for the card on the second box so cant view it.
    Thing is that others have told me that I have 0 cards shared.
    How can I check if my share is OK for others (they are all on CCCAM)

    In readers in Oscam my card says ECM OK 62 (96.88 %)
    Is that me reading the card locally or a share reading it...

    Thanks for the help.
    Card picked up now and working well..
    Its nice to have your files as I can see clearer as to what is happening between the files.

    A question.
    Ive seen oscam.dvbapi files on the web what do they do and are they necessary...

    Master G I spoke too soon.
    I do see my card in the Readers List but when I go to one of the channels its unlocked by my peers cards not the local one.
    If I disconnect my network cable the channels go black.
    Which means its not connecting to my local card at all.
    In the OSCAM web page the ECM for the internal as you instructed me to setup is zero.

    Any ideas ???

    Sorted now.
    Had the wrong CAIDs..

    Thanks Again..

    Thanks for the reply.
    Its viaaccess.
    I have made a little progress (except for the internal card).
    I installed OSCAM from VIX.
    Converted my CCCAM.CFG file with the converter.
    Copied them to the etc/tuxbox/config folder.
    Created a oscam.conf file from data from this website.
    Started OSCAM and I can see my Shares and re-shares to my other box work 100%.

    I just need to get oscam to read my card.
    Saw lots of info on DVBAPI but got confused.

    What files to I need to edit and what text goes in them ?

    Do I need to install more software (is dvbapi just config or is it an executable too..

    Im switching to OSCAM from CCCAM but haven't a clue.
    Getting more confused the more I read...

    If someone can guide me through the process that would be great.

    I have downloaded OSCAM from VIX plugins.

    I haven't edited any files but have converted my cccam.cfg to oscam.user with CCCAM TO OSCAM CONVERTER PROGRAM.

    Do I copy this to /etc/tuxbox/config over writing the one that's there ?

    Do I need to edit files to add R@dlight HD card in /dev/sci1

    I have CLINES and FLINES both external and in the house that I need to work too.

    Anyone guide me through this ?

    Thanks

    Cheers masterG.

    I see the 2 ipk files.
    Is the first one to install OSCAM and cccam 2.13 with config file setup for redlight and sly ?
    The second one is the same without cccam ?

    Whats the reason or advantage on CCCAM on the same box if oscam will serve the same functions.

    So I have to just update the oscam.server with my share details and configure the oscam.user with the clines I have in my other boxes ?

    One other question.
    I have a DM7020s that I dont use. would this suffice as a card server so I dont have to leave my DUO2 on all the time.
    If yes is there an image that suits it best. Currently its an Enigma1 Openpli from a few years back...

    Im currently using CCCAM 2.3.0 in Duo2 on VIX with sly uk and redlight hd card in it.
    Im sharing to other boxes in the house with CCCAM and have a share from my brother for set@nt@ on CCCAM.

    Im having lots of issues though.

    1 - Share stops working in other boxes but fine on DUO2.
    2 - CCCAM switches from my card to my brothers card (hop1) for no reason. It never switched from local to hop1 before ever.
    3 - CCCAM web interface stops working and eventually all CCCAM stops on DUO2. Requiring reboot.

    If I switch to OSCAM do I still need cccam on DUO2 or will OSCAM do on its own.

    Can I use the existing CLINES on the other boxes or do I need to change them to NLINES or OSCAM.

    Will the Share from my brother need to change from cline.

    Will OSCAM work with updating the EMMs.

    Are you noticing the change when it switches to your peer ?
    I too am having this issue recently.
    Usen't happen before.
    Even happens in the box that I have the card in.
    How can a peer be faster than local card...

    Have noticed that cccam doesnt seem to be as reliable as it used to be...

    Im also keen to see if oscam is the way forward.
    Hav used cccam for 6-7 years and never seen a local card swap to peer before recently only if I restarted softcam as peer connects before it reads local card.

    On the Button... Worked straight away..

    Thanks for the help..

    To stop CCcam reading your local Sly card for Setanta sports enable SMARTCARD SID REJECT in the CCcam.cfg..

    Code
    SMARTCARD SID REJECT: /dev/sci0 { C752,C7A8 }

    The SMARTCARD SID REJECT feature only works with CCcam 2.2.1 & above..

    I have full sly card HD in my receiver.
    My brother has the same plus setanta on his.
    I have a cccam share setup to my box from his and for setanta ireland its fine but for setanta sports 1 its accepting my sly card as valid but I dont have the SUB and it doesnt unlock the channel.
    If I take out my sly card then setanta sports 1 unlocks no issue switching to remote card.

    Is there a way that I can stop my local card from being chosen for setanta sports 1 so it queries my brothers card..

    I dont want to block any other channels from my local card or from his...

    Mine is a *** card too.
    Its in internal slot.
    Bit odd though... Surely any freeze every hour would drive you nuts every hour..
    when in my DUO2 I get zero freezes.
    Will try a fresh rebuild on it of Gemini.
    Wasnt expecting any 3-4 sec freezes on it though.
    What could cause it (lack of power ???)

    The 7020 should work fine for how you have set it up. Which card is it that you are having failed ECM responses from. I get occasional freezing from my 5ky card on certain channels, mostly Nat Geo. It may once or twice an hour freeze for about 2 or 3 seconds .

    Have you tried swapping the cards around. The 5ky cards would be better in the internal reader than in the Smargo. Your 7020 should handle anything upto 30 client connections without too many problems. I would suggest you try Gemini, it always worked fine on my 7020si box.

    Nano

    Anyone any Ideas on this.
    Ive had to move my cards back to my DUO2 in the interim.
    Every hour my boxes connected to my cards in DM 7020s loose one or 2 responses...
    IS the 7020s not powerful enought for card server for 3-4 local boxes.

    I have my $ly Card and SCT HD card in my 7020 with OpenPli and CCCam 2.14 installed.
    The box is only to share card with other boxes in house.
    The issue is that for 4-5 seconds every hour or 2 all 3 boxes freeze and then come back again.
    Its back before I can investigate.
    Is there any way to monitor what is happening ?
    Surely the 7020s is OK as server for 3-4 boxes.

    Should I put a more upto date version of firmware (its 2010)

    Im having the same issue with Redlight HD card..
    Im on Vix with cccam 2.3.0 and have it in my DUO2 with sly card.
    Thing is that every day after a few hours the Redlight card is not working. The Sly card is fine in the DUO2 but is not working on the Solo in the kitchen or the TM Nano upstairs.
    I have to restart cccam to get the other boxes to work or to get Redlight to work locally.
    Its strange that the sly card works locally but not or other boxes or that the redlight card doesnt work.
    Another thing is that I cant access the
    cccam web page http://xxx.xxx.xxx:16001 when the issue happens.
    A restart of softcam sorts the issue.

    Should I go back to cccam 2.1.3 to sort this if card is in slot sci1 ???

    On the frequency do I add in this line...
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY /dev/sci1 3570000

    Anyone know why this is happening ?

    Lastly to install cccam 2.13 do I just install the ipk ontop of 2.3.0 ???

    I want to setup my old DM7020s to work as a card server for my 3 other boxes.
    I have Redlight, Sly card and free to view uk card.

    Firstly whats best image for stable USB Smargo support and whats needed.

    Secondly are there issues with using the nds3 cards in the 7020s builitin slots or will I need 2 smargos.
    I had seen posts about over heating and about 3v issue.

    Anyone any ideas.....
