can people post oscam versions? , i think its older versions now not keeping up with whatever is going on! , my server dies every friday at 4pm ish now so i recon there is somethin strange happening!!!

I have had this also on a uk Sly card where ESPN HD scrambles but STD is fine, happended during a liverpool game the other week!, seems to be every 2 weeks or so i have to reboot the server or the channel is just scrambled! , its as if the SID changes and oscam doesnt know! , i am on an older oscam now so going to update to see what changes occur!

Touch wood , ive had both cards in an oscam server for 12 months (prior to that multiroom card was in spanish apartment for 18 mths) , to date i have had 1 warning over not having multiroom box connected! Never did connect it and never heard another thing , both my *** boxes are under the stairs :-). I think if its just 2 cards fully loaded with subs they arnt bothered , its when you have 4 or 5 they start to wonder.......

is there a minimum oscam version required????

Surely D+ has a lot of ex-pats to cater for (eg in the southern part of spain , i know plenty of people who have D+ reather than *** out there?? ) , will soon find out at the weekend :-)

when i have loaded ssl84 images the box doesnt boot??? or do i just get the ssl82 version?

Ill throw my 10 pence worth in, i set the motor to 0 , them mounted up on pole to face true south and the dish perfectly square to the motor arm using a decent compass, then move to 0.8 and with a sat meter adjusted to the highest whistle and checked the signal on the vu+ (2 people is easier) , once done tightened all up (while still checking meter and signal) and if all that stays the same the arc should be perfect as long as the pole is level Maybe i was just lucky? , I get 57% signal from thor @ 53N , 3W so cant be far from you , My dish is an orbital 1m + Black Lnb. When i had issues was setting the dish up on the motor to 28.2 is ok but if its not square to the 0 point of the motor and you adjust you can miss the arc at either end of the turn (eg 30w)

2 things i cannot get sorted on a maates DM800 Clone OpenPli 2.1

1 : Picture overscan , on my panasonic i can set the tv to not overscan and can see the full menus etc, on his sony and on my dads LG the menus are all missing off the screen!!! - cant solve this issue!

2 : How do you get the black remote pause buttons to work? , tried a keymap update but lots of green screens in network setup once applied??

if all other clients arent having problems then its your broadband? , my sis is on plusnet and at 6-9 she gets mad ecm times and cant use the dual tuner on 2 encrypted chanels!!!!!!!! , do a speed test when your having issues to test the line?

@sat-shop - is there no way you can track the serial number from the box as to when it was purchased / bought into stock by yourselves??? it was bought from your store, i did raise a ticket but i was asked to supply purchase details and the guy on here who i bought it from hasnt come back to me yet?? , i will buzz you tomorrow though thanks! I wont put a link to another site but the PSU's are £50 delivered from a vu+ spares site in Australia which seems very good, also they do mainboards, and the LCD / card reader sections too!!!

Just took the PSU out and there is a big brown mark on the bottom of the circuit board and around a capacator on the top!

ok , the ongoing Duo saga is solved - the PSU is faulty! (just swapped another one out!) , anyone know if sat-shop or anyone carries spares?????

Update 2 : Vu Duo PSU Faulty!!!!!! , swapped and booted! , now to find a spare!

just an update , solo fixed with re-flash to 2.2.10 + online update, solid as a rock all day!!!! , Duo still dead at mo!

I'm seriously thinking about goin back to 2.2.100, the first vix 2.3 ran on the old kernel but that is unstable too on my Duo , never had any issues on 2.2.100, HD Glass worked , everything solid! , all was spot on! , Looks like solo needs re-flash , duo looks terminal at moment!!!

Also with the new bootloader does it affect old images???

Finally my main duo crashed again last night at 4am when it was due to go into auto standby , hard reset required! , not looking promising for this new image , if it does the same tomorrow im going back to basics!!!!

I am starting to wonder about the new bootloader and/or VIX 2.3 images!

I now have a vu solo with green light on but no sinal and no remote response!

As per my previous post in this section a Duo has gone the same way with a permanent red light!

Both had the latest bootloader flashed , VIX 2.3 3.1.1 installed and VIX cccam 2.13 from TSpanel done, other than crossepg update the images have not been touched....

Searching on google is bringing more and more posts with other people having the same issues.........

I have 2.3 on another Duo and have had 3 random crashes in 3 days , the boxes have been bomb proof on VIX 2.2 for over 5-6mths!......................

Err , cash unfortunately! , worst thing is i bought it for a mate as i thought it was a good deal :angry:

How do i flash the image when the box doesnt power up and just has the red light lit in top left corner?? , image was on and working fine for a week but box had 2 power cut outs while watching , i set it up with VIX 2.3 exactly the same as my other 3 boxes?

Bought Vu+ Duo from a guy advertising on here a week ago , the machine has cut out twice and now the system just has the red standby light on with nothing working and no LED display? , Looks like PSU in my opinion? Anyone had the same problem or way of testing to find fault!!!???
