does look like a driver issue from what you say , but as i said i used later versions of oscam and they wouldnt work with my sly card at all! what version are you running? , i use oscam 1.10rc svn build #5775 (I deffo do not recomment oscam 1.2!)
can confiirm version #5775 is best for me with 79ms responses, later versions caused me nightmares and i wont be updating anytime soon :-)
My smargo was straight out the box (although I had a nightmare with a fake that wouldn't overclock and then failed , run lsusb and note the ID of the card reader, then put this in to the device = , if you use smart reader u should be able to use MHz = 686 , I started with 245ms until I moved to these settings, 145 once overclocked and now get 79ms with USB hub! Ps does ur machine have USB2 ports?
Just to confirm mine is in an Ubuntu server and the smargo is standard
This will give you ECM times of 130-140ms directly into usb port or 80-90ms with a POWERED USB Hub (dont ask me why) , find your device by runnsing 'lsusb' command

Update! - the booster/splitter had the H and V Gain on max (little twisty things you can turn with elec screwdriver) , turned them down half way and hey presto! All working! :-) Thanks to Rikjaard for the post as we went hunting in communal cupboards!!!
cancel that somes sd channels break up too.................
Just swapped my mates openbox s9 to a vu solo , now all the sly HD channels break up (Sports / 3d / sly one) although espn BBC HD etc are ok , seems to be all horizontal frequencies? signal jumps from 90 - 50 - 0 % over and over , any ideas? , maybe a 20db booster required? , its a communal system , AGC is 45? , dunno what to suggest to him? could it be a dodgy tuner in vu+ , all SD channels are fine??
nosoup - deffo no duplicate user
ill add dropdups later , thanks for that!
Or could it be dual tuner??????
So why would the requests come at an identical moment?
Have sent PM to him to get it sorted or get disconnected :85: , not had any issue with a close friend running oscam on a qbox mini so know it works ok like that, just this user
have a peer from this site running direct from my oscam debian connected via c line i have given out (with no reshare) cccreshare = 0 in his user account and uniq=1
status of oscam reports him using : cccam ext (2.1.4-3191) - as far as i am aware they are using the c-line in oscam proxy reader which is ok as some boxes dont run cccam
requests come in two at the same time for the same channel:
2011/09/17 14:40:23 B4BB**** c USERNAME (0963&000000/CCC9/62:16FC): found (81 ms) by slyuk2 (of 1 avail 2)
2011/09/17 14:40:23 B4BB**** c USERNAME (0963&000000/CCC9/62:16FC): cache1 (0 ms) by slyuk2 (of 1 avail 2)
after so long my server disconnects with 2011/09/17 14:40:26 B49F**** c account 'USERNAME' duplicate login, disconnect!
then they disconnect and reconnect and off we go again!
stats are : 3782 ecm's and 4511 ecms from cache which is very wierd! (how can you have more ecm's from cache???)
steve you accounts look fine , once they are in make sure your boxes are running cccam 2.1.3 (no others work properly) add an n-line to your cccam.cfg file and updates will deffo come through:
Nline would be :
N: ip-address port-no user password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256
Your box will then report hop 0 and your box will be tricked into being a local card
Also the au=sly_uk must match the label=sly_uk in the config file so it knows that that user can update!
Note : add cccam on a different port in config of your debian to share your card to other peers NOT N. Lines! (also needs adding in router port forward)
Eg :
[cccam]
port=10002 # can be anything you choose , edit as required)
version=2.1.4
cccreshare=1
This will allow any user you give a c-line to to connect to your debian with 1 reshare
or you can omit cccreshare line and add cccreshare line into each user account to control different users reshare options
FINALLY : i dont have the ident line in my server but my caid is caid = 0963:000000 in reader section
Hope that helps , dont forget card only updates entitlements around same time each month so dont panic too much!
Mate I'm up for one pm me, is this original series?
I'll have one mate will u pm me! Is this the original 3?
Easiest way is set a user account for ur main box as standard,
Add the line into user account
Au=sly_uk
All other accounts add
Au=0
Then just add n-line into your main box (as your config setup is newcamd)
The entitlements will update no probs! - works for me!
If u have 2 cards use 2 separate accounts in 2 boxes , or a person u trust with an n line for the second!
Just to confirm the above file does not work in oscam : format must be :
0963,0961:0EDC|SlyUK|Eurosport HD
file is good but needs lots of editing!
so just to add does this mean we should be keeping an eye on peers running cccam 2.0.11??? and ask them why????
Scrap that just read section 2 :-) sorry
