they are a good starter box, few of my mates hav them and they do exactly what they sayon the tin, i have tried lots of firmwares but the july one is still the best for me, couple of audio sync issues now and then but great for the money, blade media 7000 or spiderbox 7000 is the one to go for if your looking for closed source but once your there the vu+ solo can be picked up for £193 now which blows em all out of the water! , overall a good starter box and easy to use.

Only thing is that the openbox is not very good to reshare if your looking to do that in the future.........

I think i have done this for oscam.services but that will only process the SID's how do i then match them to the channel for display in oscam webif eg :

As the title says would like to know how to change or keep my oscam.srvid file up to date, can i use kingofsat etc or is there a tool? Surely if this goes out of date it affects services file and can block wrong channels etc???

i was using s9, deffo no good for sly uk! - maybe its asia version as they would have simbols??? Needs to be single line!

Is the s10 different? - i'll test later! - would be fine if txt was smaller!

Ok installed the new firmware and now the channel list is 3 columns wide which you would think would be an improvement! - however it only displays 8/9 characters so the channels list all as sly sports then the HD 1, 2, 3 etc is missing as its cut off by the next column so they all look the same! Any Way of changing this???

Ok so i am now getting quite a few friends on here and got some good shares now , however how can you decide what order to put them in or will cccam (using 2.1.3) just pick the best one? I understand that you can block CAID's from each but that must take ages to sort if you have say 10 sares with lots of reshares???? , i would assume you put hop1's higher then lines with more hop2's lower but surely hop2 is better if the ecm is lower? Is there an idiots guide to my answer?

set this up for a mate with his local sly card and getting following in oscam log: rejected user ident (0 ms) (no card support 0963:000000) , card is in lower slot , any ideas?

Sorted , prefer ac3 must be set to on in the A/V settings or it chooses the mpeg descriptive audio track automatically!

Ok mate has a qbox hd mini and each channel defaults to the descriptive audio track not the main audio one, got to be a setting somewhere but i cant find it! , any clues guys?

I have no internet in a property in spain buit have had a 1.3m dish fitted for freesat, thinking of getting a 3g router and sim (about £60) which will cost 1€ per day each time its used for unlimited internet 30mb at 3g speed then unlimited@ 128kbps for the rest of the day. will this be quick enough for occasional watching as only there few weeks a year or is it just a non starter?

strange problem since re-install of my vu+ VIX image running cccam 2.13 or 2.2.1, i have one n-line (local lan to debian server) and 4 c-lines from peers , the n-line always took priority, now the n-line takes priority when you re-start cccam but on a channel change it jumps to a c-line share, the n line is first in list? any suggestions why? is it to do with access times or something?

Shame it can't just stop requests after say 3 hours for that user and then enable again on next channel zap!

Read on a google search there is a secret menu in information to set auto standby like the sly box? , doesnt seem to work on mine but would be mega handy!

Anyone got any info on it? - Be handy for my dad who forgets to turn the thing off for 3 days at a time :-)
