  • odd random sly channels stop clearing after a period oscam server - boxid????

    Ten , that looks really good,


    as for the problem i rekon its could be ecmwhitelist as if it was services surly the channels would either clear on not clear? , dont understand wht they drop after randomly after so long?


    i have been reading and now have it stable by reducing card mhz to 6 (previously 6.86) , removed ecmwhitelist and services and adding a new feature :



    OSCam/en/Config/oscam.server


    it supposidly resets the reader after so many ecms (although it doesnt reset the global count )


    , i will leave it and see and then introduce 1 by 1 to see which affects it! , i have a feeling its the ecmwhitelist or the overclock now!

    2 things i noticed :


    The oscam wiki for oscam.whitelist looks outdated ,


    their ecm list for 0963 is : 3E,42,45,47,4B,4E,56,62,64,68,6A,6F,72,7D,7E,79,80 ,


    the full 0963 list is :3E,4F,42,44,45,47,4E,53,54,56,61,67,62,68,69,6A,6B,6E,6D,6F,71,72,73,77,78,79,7A,7C,7D,7E,80,8B


    if you have another reader you need to add the ecm whitelist line for that card : for SCT it would be :


    l:0500:042700::::34,43,44,4D,48,52,57,5C,61,66 # Sct 13E

  • Oscam timeouts every 2 hours

    ok further report , oscam is a lot more stable . i do however have the issue that when whitelist is enabled at reader level or oscam.services file level then the odd random channel stops clearing and suddenly gets ignored! eg yesterday was sly premier HD and E4 HD, today it was nick jr and another , now it is sly modern greats , channel 5 HD and Eurosport HD, very strange! if i remove the ecm whitelist its fine and if i restart its fine for a bit!

    use updated #7051 version of oscam


    add a file oscam.whitelist in oscam files folder with this line in it:


    l:0963:000000::::3E,42,45,47,4B,4E,56,62,64,68,6A,6F,72,7D,7E,79,80


    see how you get on and report back....

  • possiblethat a client can crash oscam due to bad requests???

    ok so lately my oscam server for sly uk is crashing more and more! , it cant be a config problem as my mate has the same setup and its rock solid :



    however i have noticed one user with a sly IT card i have with a direct share to my server keeps requesting ECMS and oscam logs the following:

    I am wondering if anyone else has had the problem as my server crashes from day to day ramdomly!


    Looks like another reason to use Oscam to read and CCCam to share ........ BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!

  • Oscam drops 2 x locals and log reports no matching reader - ongoing!

    right, been battling for a while :


    I have a ubuntu server running 10.04 with 2 smargo's in USB Hub , all works smashing with 78ms responses! with oldest reader 1st etc, have a number of people on Newcamd and a number on CCcam connecting on 2 different ports into the server directly and no issues with that.


    radomly (although never in the evening during 'peak times' or weekends) - normaly over night or on a friday - the server seems to loose the 2 cards and report (no matching reader) to all requests, oscam doesnt crash just the reading of the cards, so far have tried 2 servers, 2 usb hubs and 2 different SVN's of oscam 65** and 69** and both have the same issue, my mate has the same config on a far older machine only difference is one card not two and has no issues with 40 days + uptime!!


    Can ony think its a glitching smargo - but why do both drop off??? or an ecm causing the issue, also i have 1 card updating by newcamd from my vu+ and the other from the same setup on my Sisters Vu+ , maybe i should turn AU off or update both myself , before today i thought it was only crashing after an entitlement update?


    Anyone got any thoughts or had similar problems, tempted to go back to 1 card and start from basics!

  • Bigger dish,more channel selection

    i assume you have an 80cm now or smaller as your post states 90cm or larger, 1m orbital + black ultra gave me access to 4.8e and 0.8w and possible 16e (may be wrong when i upgraded from an cheap 80, all the other usual stuff just improved signal! (was a while ago though)

    i have had a similar issue where the odd channel just stops requesting from my card - eg sly action hd , yet other channels even the SD version work fine still! , only an oscam restart cures the problem! , am setting another server up to see if the problem persists to eliminate all possibilities!

    Thanks i didnt realise that was there, eg if i click 19.2 its empty so assumed it was a marker sorry! , separate adult section would be good as it is sold now as a single 'package' , up to you though as its your List :-)

    Catseye, just a quick one , can you add penthouse to 9e as an adult section as i dont think its in the list? , im happy adding it manually but would be nice to have it included! Gotta say best channel list by a mile thanks for the great uploads!!!!
