It is not radio I am after, it is for playing music stored on my hard drive.

I have a lot of music loaded on my enigma2 boxes hard drives and have found YAMP to be the best and most configurable music player. Unfortunately YAMP is now very old and no longer seems to be supported. I cannot find any way to install it on python 3 images. Can anyone suggest a way I can install it.
Alternatively, using Merlin Music player, the display window is very small and I cannot find any way to increase the size of the window. Is there a solution or does anyone have another music player?

For years, my first choice was VTI but it is very dated now and PLi is now the best for me. I have tested images for many years and now, once or twice a month I load and have a run through the new images, VIX, ATV, Blackhole, OpenSpa, and several others but currentlyI I always return to PLi.
I use a VU+ Ultimo 4K and a Zgemma 7. I also have a Dreambox 7000, a VU+ Duo2 relegated to the loft.

VTI images are here https://www.vuplus-support.org/wbb4/vtisoftware/

Download Enigma2 Remote Control to your phone. That works fine for my Zgemma 7 on mt Huawei 9

Give VTI a go. It is my preferred VU image.
How do I get the CI+ support added? Or is it supported out of the box? Trying to find some guides for that now, but unable to find something easily available.
Use the blue button.

I have a VU Ultima 4K, a VU Duo2 and a Zgemma 7. The Ultimo is the best build quality but the ZGemma at a fraction of the price runs much faster and has the option of inbuilt multiboot so you can try different images. My Zgemma has an internal hard drive and stores my hundreds of music albums and lots of downloaded movies. It runs IPTV flawlessly.

It seems as if it is waiting for input from you. Possibly the box has not been set up for your TV resolution. i.e.it has been set to 2160 and your tv is 1080 or 720. Also it may be on an encrypted channel having been set up by someone else. Try the menu button to see if anything shows.

The picture player extension allows you to show pictures loaded on your hard drive.

The Zgemma H7C box is very fast and records/plays UHD 2160P 50 channels perfectly. I don't bother with PIP so not sure what it is like. Recording of multiple channels works fine and I think it is an excellent box for its price. I often record one or more channels whilst watching a recorded movie and it is absolutely fine.
I tend to experiment with images and the four boot segments of the 7C are ideal for that, the boot up speed being much better than my VU Ultimo 4K box.

Does this image have the Zgemma H7 multiboot selection/control files?
-
remax96, it can be flashed into one of the boot sectors but it does not have the multiboot image selector so you need to use ftp to copy another of the boot files into boot-0 to get back to one of the other images.

How about box share with a new enigma2 firmware?
-
I am able to use the ipk and opkg install options but the files will not install even though they install ok on other images.
-
After trying it, I find it will not allow opkg or ipk install.

gorski, the point I was making is that if one activates T2 in some images, including Pure2, it does not automatically deactivate cable and the cable option over-rides the T2 selection. So in Pure2, one has to activate T2 and also separately deactivate cable.
The more sensible option would be that if one selects T2 then cable should be automatically deactivated.
