I received open box s10 hd today, installed latest software, and it has the avatarcam but it need code for servers, tried some non working.
ehhhhhhhh, this is hard.
Sorry, but it is a payment server.
Here we do not support this type of servers.

Hi, could please explain more about this and how to use it.
I downloaded and unpacked, it turns out is a "FAC.***way.Droid.v2.09.61.2011Oct13.ird" file, I have no idea what this for.thanks
This file is not for the openbox s9/s10, that we use here.
It is for the ucranian version of openbox. -
1, open constant.cw as text file(.txt) in computer
2, edit the keycode in the file Constant.cw
3, save the file in USB
4, insert the USB into the receiver
5, go to menu "NETWORK SETUP"----CCCAM CLIENT SETUP"
6, go to the first list "update files by USB'
7, go to the third list "constant.cw(cccam plug) , then press ok
8, press the yellow key on the remote controller, the receiver will save the files. -

It must be a firmware problem lads because the openbox can see the HD and tell me that it has 486Gb free.. but when I press record this stupid message comes up: 'PS' or 'TS'... when I click either and record for more than 2 minutes, nothing is visible in the media player section! I think I have just wasted 50 euro on this drive....
strange... look in the mediaplayer section in Record, not video.

The latest firmware 17-06-2011 now contains a media player that plays mp4 and mpeg1 and 2 files. Works well.
But, it doesnt play avi files.

if you have an Ali3602 HD Receiver for example S9,S10.S11..there is a method to identify as follows if it is original or clone.
Before identify , please backup the old software of the box into usb. Then upgrade our last software dated 14th Sep. 2011 by usb.
enter into menu---tool---information---press "8888" key, now you will see CHIP ID , If the box CHIP ID is in the chip_id_list, congratulatations, your HD Receiver is original version! You can upgrade any new firmware and experience more new functions. Otherwise, You Box is clone version , please recover the software with the old version! This software will kill the clone box when power on over 10 times. If less than 10 times, no kill for clone verion.
the chip_id_list is the following, it will update everyday: (updated date: 09/14/2011)

38ECWhen you buy a new box , try to view the chip_id_list on our website. If you can not find the valid "CHIP ID" on the chip_id_list, it means your box is a clone box.

I think this is the best box (quality-price), but no good for reshare and no Enigma support.
The firmware is closed source.
The box is very easy to use for beginners. -

It works 100% in Openbox S9HD , but i think this firmware is from 24/08 and not from 01/09/11.
I dont know why Shenzhen reload this firm today.

This is best way to repair this type of boxes.
Tested 100%steps:
1 - Download the following file:
Erom Repair - With Repair File HDS2_CMT_ENG.ABS.rar
2 -
Run EromUpgrade and select "Upgrade" and check the "bootloader".
Select the image "HDS2_CMT_Eng.abs" and give "Next".
Once you finish the upgrade will show us these symbols "-|-|-|".3 -
Turn off the deco and install the second image, the same way as in step 2 but selecting the next image and checking "bootloader"Good luck
