Dear All Pro, I'm new to OpenBox and usually I just use it and didn't have time to explore it. Now is time to learn from all Pro here... :)
1. How to check which OpenBox I have? S9? S10?
2. What is the latest firmware/software that I suppose to download and flash it?
3. How to share my card to family via internet?
4. Lots more to lean, hope all pro here are kind to teach, share...etc and sorry, if I'm giving a stupid question..... :)1.- This is a openbox s9 :

First, make a full backup !!!
1.- Unzip TP_PROG.zip with a program such as winrar & place the TP_PROG.DBS file onto the root of your USB drive.
2.- In the Openbox menu delete your current channel list by going to the "Edit Channel" tab & selecting "Delete All".
3.- Staying in the menu navigate to the "Tools" tab then "Upgrade by USB", change the upgrade mode from "Image File" to "Misc Files" then "Select & Upgrade" & select "TP_PROG.DBS" then press yellow, if all done correctly it should begin to upgrade.Many thanks DeejayAJ

Howdy,
Juts a thought, but I think we could do with adding Openbox S11 and S12 sections within the Openbox area.
I know they are all effectively the same, but I feel we are maybe not quite tapping into the the market so to speak....For the sake of adding two new sections to the site, I know people will start to use and I have no doubts that the community will respond.
Just my thoughts, but I do feel its worthwhile..
Even if simply tweaking the title to inculde S11/S12 as that is pretty much what you get if buying Openbox now.
Hope this adds to the community.

Hi guys,
I gotta porblem with the sat list when using this firmware. I install it but than I cant add sattelite or it scans just one for ex 13.0E or 28.2.
When I try to add a new sattelite, if I put 19.2 lets sEay its shown as 84.0E or some strange number. Any help with this. I usualy use 13/19/28.2/25.5/7E /0.8W
Which list I should use with this f/w ? I have a clone S10Thanks
Strange, do you try one sat list or more ?
Maybe the sat list is corrupt.

I have checked this software on S9 HD nothing new. No cccam 2.2.1, no HD channels ok on Asiasat 5. no dish tv ok on NSS6 95E. It seeems old s/w no new feature scene.
I have checked this software on my Openbox S9 HD.
I cant see nothing new.

There are two versions of s16 openbox using different firmware, most use these firmware.

But right now I would recommend buying a Openbox.
They use embedded Linux.
