Just set up my new F3 box yesterday but can't get wifi to connect it see the network but times out ,have tried it open net too and same results have any of you knowledgable peeps on here any ideas please

just flashed this image to my openbox and there is no option for 28.2
anyone know how i can add this so i can do a scan?

There was no readme with it, plus buggy.
The last legit firmware on the factory sites is the 2-15-2012
The august firmware is an old beta firmware from Anonymousx, released by one of his beta testers.
The last official firmware from Shenzhen is 02/12/2011 .
If s/w changed with bootloader also. is it possible to run thses s/w in openbox what is ur oipnion dear

Not so easy my friend.
You need a special tool to change the firmware or have a very broad knowledge of programming.
Hi moderator, a long time have been trying to established a LAN connection to this box with my laptop. I have found the program STBHD_LAN_MM which should do this. So to the box I have put the IP address 192.168.1.100, my laptop IP was 192.168.1.99. Then I run this program. To establish a new connection with the box I need to enter the password, the default password should be [0 0 0 0] Then I turn on the receiver and click the login button but no way to connect !!! each time I click the login always appears "no connection" then I try another passwords eg. 1111, 6666, 8888 but with the same results ....
Any ideas how to connect this box pls ? Thanks for every information.
This software is for s9 , i think it doesnt work on a s16.
I think all receivers based on ali 3602 chip s/w can be used in openbox s9. recivers like amiko, yamatu, etc have all same chip ali 3602. their s/w are regularly updated. Amiko has same hardware as i think, can any person comment on it.

Display MoreIm also using above on my S9 PVR Clone, Its OK but I would like to try this. Just a quick question. When you say bricked, do you mean the clone warning that can be sorted with the null modem cable or worse? If its just a null modem fix, I would like to give this a shot..
I never liked the 3 column channel list though, It was a bit annoying for the likes of $ky Sports 1-4, F1 & News because they all just came up as "$$ly Sport" because only 10 characters were displayed for channel names..

I'd say if your box is working fine at the moment don't bother with this people as these boxes are so un-stable, installing any firmware can give you massive headaches so if it ain't broke don't fix it is my advise....
Not really any ground breaking improvements anyway.
I use the first beta from AnonymouSX and it works 100% on my original s9 box.
I'm using it on my S9 clone from 01/02/2012 and has not brick.
I am a beta tester of the anonymouSX, tested the Blue GUI, I tried Red GUI., But there is only this box to clone, who has an original yojia, you can use the S10 of the day which is 13/12/2011 only locks the same clone.

I dont recommend this firmware.
Many people brick the box by updating tp list.
Use it at your own risk, but you are warned.
