y make a client only box?? If i knew the openbox was client only i wud nt have bought it!! the DM800 has many good reviews and solid knowledgebase

The Openbox can only act as a client!! U can take but cant give back...Well thats for now untill there is some sort of firmware update..

When u card share to gave back u need the box to act as a server.

I bought a openbox S9.. cost bouy ?90.. low budget, HD and does the trick!! downside!! limited C line, cant act as a server has some rebooting issue.

Might not be ideal for you but just to make u aware of the box

I have manged to get the issue sorted!! I had entered in the wrong c line info on my CCcam.cfg file

Thanks to an angel i manged to get a test c line and it is working perfectly fine!!!!

No they wont say anything to you!! its totaly up to u what router you use aslong as you pay for the internet you can use what eva router you want

And you will still being using they (BT) service...

The network is configed!! i can ping the box, the lines have been ticked and the box rebooted. but on the opening splash screen it says login fail!!

oh, if you dnt know what they are then your ISP will provide em to you, all it will take is a quick call

The only thing you would need is a ADSL username and password!!

Its not the best speed connection but it will do...

what connecton sppeds do u have ?? i.e 20Mbps, 8 Mbps?
