I noticed this model on the Gigablue homepage: hxxps://store.gigablue.de/collections/4k-receiver/products/gigablue-uhd-trio-4k-pro-combo-tuner-w-lan-1200mbps
It’s been available for sale recently—is this device really a new model? Does anyone already have it who could share their experience with the blindscan feature?

The developers are the ones who could help you, but they already gave you options to get oscam emu working with powervu. Otherwise, I don't think there are any developers here willing to do it for you. The projects have been separated, emu no longer actively supports it, and keep in mind that powervu can still be used, but I haven't seen anyone post anything that helps those of us who know practically nothing... myself included.
-
You started a thread about it, and people told you that what you're trying to do isn't possible. Do you think that after a few days this has been resolved?

How does your blindscan work? What tuners does it have?

I'm sorry I can't help you with tvheadent. I haven't used it for many years, since I had a MOI pro and IKS was flourishing in my country. From what I've read, I understand that it works fine, but I don't know how to configure it.
-
It's a very old issue, it's been discussed at length, and as far as I know, no one has been able to get it to work. You'll probably see ecm or autoroll keys in the log, but no video from the program will be displayed on the screen. I'm sorry, unless someone else in the forum can share their success story...

If it's with Powervu, it was never successful.

Since you already know that your current device works well and I believe it is one of the best devices to work with Mars, I would choose the same one. I have a v9 prime with Mars and it also works very well.

You should use your old configuration files and, if you want a new version, just use them. The only thing you should change or update is your softcam.key. The OSCam developers haven't ruined anything, just use what you have.
-
The problem is precisely that configuration in the tab "oscam.dvbapi." Comment out everything related to 2600 or simply don't use it...oscam is no longer intended for use with emu, but rather for other types of encryption.

Is it me or is altitude1 & 2 showing as biss?
it's you...

I'm using the same thing I use for this:
Compile Oscam
You can copy the file. (oscam_patch_manager.py) within the same path and run the program
It's not that difficult to do, I'm not a Linux expert either, but speedy005 made it easy. -
Taste is personal. I have tried almost all the images for various devices, from Dreambox to the latest one I have, an SF8008. I always come back to using Openpli. Today I am using version 8.3 from August because they have been modifying so many things that, instead of improving, they are worsening some things that are important to me. For example, scanning, whether blind or simple scanning, shows the names of the services as TP names, such as 12660, instead of their actual names, such as 77w or 121w, for example, and there should be more. You need to spend some time to find the one you like best.

When generating this last patch, a larger file than the previous ones is created, and an error occurs at the end of applying the patch.
The wiki file is not a regular file - it refuses to patch.
1 of 1 fragment ignored - saving rejects the wiki.rej file.
I just went through the procedure again, and now it works perfectly!
Excellent contribution speedy005 -
The first version gave errors *hunk, and I corrected the script. Thank you very much for everything!

Now I am obtaining the oscam-emu.patch file with these commands:
Codecd ~ git clone https://git.streamboard.tv/common/oscam.git oscam-patching cd oscam-patching git remote add emu-repo https://github.com/oscam-mirror/oscam-emu.git git fetch emu-repo git diff master..emu-repo/master > oscam-emu.patchfor the following occasions:

That's right, it works!
