    Have been looking around the net and the amount of boxes is baffling. Most of the ones on the bay seem to be MX in various derivatives all saying they are the best. I read somewhere that the ones with Amlogic processor are better suited to XBMC. Anyone got any views on the MX boxes. Do they do the job??

    hi guys
    just put this on my laptop and as title says I am completely new to it. Version is Helix and with help of some online vids have got it working. Have to say it is much better than I imagined. Might even buy myself and Android box. Anyway first of no doubt many questions. Would it be possible to send this to my TV possibly via my Solo2, using one of the network settings, or is there a better way. Also could someone recommend a good box

  • Which is best? Vu+ vs Dreambox vs Amiko

    Had an Amiko which was my first enigma box and found it to be absolute rubbish. Now solo2 which is brilliant for me. Great support very fast and does what I want. Never had a dreambox so cannot comment, but from a non techy view I can't imagine what more it could do for me than the Solo

    Home cinema kit for sale. Excellent sound system, just too powerful for my room.
    For Sale: set of Qacoustics speakers 2000 series in graphite, comprising four surround 1 centre and 2070 subwoofer. Cost over £600 new. Also 4 speaker stands and 2 wall mounting brackets. Also large quantity of high quality speaker cable., although there are a couple of very minor marks on 2 of the speakers.
    Denon AVR 1910 receiver 7channel. All is in excellent condition and working correctly.
    Because of the size and weight would need to be collected from North Derbyshire, near Chesterfield
    I am asking £550 for the whole package

    thanks for reply, think I will leave well alone as it is not a major problem, so I presume thats where I would FTP to, and would that override current sat list or would I have to remove first. I want to install Catseye settings which I have previously done from linuxsat support plugin, but I don't see them there anymore

    Hi,


    I have tried twice to rename a recorded file and both times it has vanished completely. Anyone any ideas why this is happening. I am running Vix apollo 97 but it has done it on previous version
