I am trying to install a backup of Vix image using meoboot on BH 2.08 image. Have followed tutorials and Meoboot is installed to HDD. I have a backup of Vix image on a usb stick and have gone into Media /meoboot/mboot upload and transferred zip file across and is showing attribute 691. However when I go to M/Boot plugin there is no file showing. Does the file have to be named in a specific way. It is shown as vusolo2-3 0. 805-2. I have rebooted box . Any advice

I have just installed BH 2.08 along with Autoboquets after running Vix and have noticed that the channels are in a different order in some of the lists. For instance in sports I think it was *** sports 1 2 3 and 4 HD at top of list and they seemed to be in some sort of order but on the BH image they are all over the place. Is this to do with the image or the skin or is it the way the plugin reacts with the image. I am using Metrix skin. I have tried moving them around but after overnight update they go back. Any ideas on this.

I have tried several images. Currently using latest BH, and so far have to say I prefer the Vix image. However I have not used BH for very long so perhaps not really a good comparison. I do though like the epg on Vix. It is simple to reflash images on Solo2 so try until you find what you like, and I would also suggest when you start you may find it useful to use one the the backup images done by Ten Below, He has done all the work so you are up and running straight away and you can tweak it as you learn

thinking of installing latest BH image on Solo2 but I understand that no cams are installed. Looking to add cccam and Oscam. So what are best versions and how do I do it??

VU+Solo2 is a great box with lots of support and images to suit anyone. I would say steer away from the Alien 2 although a lot cheaper, is not in the same league regarding performance. From what I have read the Gigablue Quad is a good box and a bit cheaper. Have a good look round the forum before deciding. I am sure you will get lots of advice on here. A word of caution if you are buying a Solo2. Be aware that people are selling clones so best to stick to reputable dealer such as sponsor

Looks like I have the same problem as Therapo in post 84

although it said installed on screen just looked and it is still in temp file. I'll give it another go

Have installed this via ipk updater in Vix image. Said install complete and rebooted but where do I find it. not showing in plugins, or anywhere else that I can see.

Hi I am running Ten Below Open PLI backup and have installed cool guide, but cannot get it to be default epg. I press long on EPG button which brings up various options including setting default epg, but this doesn't seem to work as it always goes to standard. Am I missing something

it seems that Kingston drives are recommended though I believe some others will work. I bought a 4g one from online retailer for about £4

thanks for your help. I have got it installed by going to addons and have entered my IP address for box, but still not working. Could it be something to do with firewall. I am running Avast security

I had same probs with PKT images . Tried several different ones and could not get them to load properly. Would go so far and then stop at ''starting''. Gave up and loaded HDMU without probs. Strange because I had been running PKT previously and liked the image. Fortunately for me it is now only a second box so can afford to play about with it. Going to try PKT again

wouldn't bother with the Alien, not a bad box for price but enigma side is a bit disappointing. the Spark side has epg but not very good compared to the Vix image. I have one and have since bought a VU solo2 and the difference is massive. I know that is not within your price range but other vu boxes/gigablue/and Venton may be worth a look

Hi M8,
you need to edit the oscam server file,and ftp it . I think it is usr/keys, but notsure as don't have access to box at moment.Have a look on google regardiing editing file
