If it is dvb-c (cable tuner) ,I'm afraid you've no hope at receiving satellite channels.
You'll need a receiver with dvb-s/s2 tuner installed.

Dunno if oscam generates auto srvid file to be honest.
This site is well maintained though:

It starts (boots) faster.
Can change channel a little bit faster.
Can start plugins faster.Quotefor exemple:i dont wanna have a pc with processor I5 for reading the news
At the end of the day, your receiver is basically a linux computer with tuner(s) installed.
The faster the processor, the smoother the performance.
A 400mz processor will get you there but will take a little bit of extra time in doing so. -
Try this patched firmware:
http://linuxsat-support.com/sh…-103-103-Mini-153-203-253
Is it the "ash" error your suffering from? -
Have yet to try opendroid I'm afraid

Use xorion bootlogomaker to upload your desired boot logo.
To make the boot logo appear for longer, just add your logo to all empty pictures, hit "convert to mvi" , enter your receiver's ip, root and password details and hit "send converted logos".
You'll find xorion bootloader maker here:

Go into options, settings, integration and make sure the file type extension is checked.
You then should be good to go. -
Let me know how you get on.
I can have a go for you if your unsuccessful or haven't the right cable (still passing through your town twice a week)
P.M. me if you need assistance. -
Think sly is 1080i not 1080p (don't quote me on that though)
Chance a different hdmi lead and try your refresh rate at 50hz (although it shouldn't really matter on a decent projector)
Maybe have your amiko running before powering on your projector (worth a shot)
Also check your aspect ratio on your projector (16:9 is standard for hd) -
As far as I'm aware, Sly Q main box uses a different type of lnb (wide band lnb).
The Q multiroom boxes stream from the main one (no lnb input as far as I'm aware)
You'll probably need two dishes to keep your existing setup, one for each (unless they have come up with some type of hybrid lnb, which is quite possible as I'd imagine your situation would be very common)
Give em a buzz and they'll put you straight. -
Download the file.
Then right click on it and choose "extract files"
Choose your destination or leave the default destination and hit "ok"
Close winrar.
Then find the destination folder you extracted the file to and the picons should be inside it. -
The erom upgrade file is a flashing program, install it on a pc with an rs232 interface.
It is the program used to communicate and flash the firmware onto the ariva.
The other file is the firmware, you need to extract this out (it will end with .abs extension) and then select it when prompted by the erom upgrade tool.
When it asks you to reset target stb, just power of and on the ariva using the rear rocker switch.
It may not work for you though as normally the receiver shows "ash" error or red light if you have a corrupt firmware/bootloader etc.
If there is no signs of life what-so-ever, you may have a hardware failure (and they are not really worth paying for a repair, if it is possible at all)
If it is hardware, the edision os-mini combo receiver would be right up your alley.
It's a great receiver and guarantee you'll never look back.- - - Updated - - -
Also, make sure your rs232 cable is a null modem type (may be printed on one end of the cable plug or on the outer insulation) as there are many varieties of rs232 cables but the pin connections differ.

I'd first check all your display units to see if they can display full Hd (1080p).
A lot of older equipment were only HD ready (normally means that it can't display resolutions above 720p from my experience)
If your display shows a picture at 720p but not 1080p then this may be your problem. -
Need a lot more info really (your own server/friends server, emu running, free channels working etc) , bear in mind rule 2 though.
Full set of rules are here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/misc.php?do=vsarules -
Also have a read here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/sh…ighlight=red+light+vu+uno
I experienced something similar with my brothers uno, red light but unresponsive.
We believe the phone line was hit by lightening (the tv and router also packed in and only thing common to all three was the phone line).
In the end I purchased a new motherboard from the forum sponsor (after trying to jtag it with zero results) which sorted it out.
A second hand system board got the tv going and we replaced the router.
I hope you aren't in the same situation though. -
Try a manual scan with the frequencies from here: (you may need to have correct lnb, ku type, and also a current satellite.xml file)
Quote
Satellite.xml file can be got from here:

Mega don't like re-directs anymore.
Better off to copy link then paste into your browser, removing the linuxsat portion.
I've attached the image below: -
It should work on all enigma2 receivers

Try changing cpu architecture type to sh4 (if it allows it, I think the nbox is sh4 processor, not mips)
